Easy enough to work on when they go wrong, but very underrated tractors that will work away all day

Yes Andrew, they have a return feed, if I’m correct it’s directly next to where the tipping hose feeds into 👍

I allways clean or change the filter, and if there is no cab on the tractor I make one to avoid water running inside gear or rearbox, and for my own sake.

Hi Kevin, not managed to post new videos much as no internet at our new building site just yet but hope to get back at them soon. I ordered them from ATP motorz in Chech Republic you will find them on google. I have a manual I could look up the part numbers if you needed.

Recently changed dirty filter due to lift arms dropping under load and jumping . Online research suggested o-rings in hydraulic distributor may be a good place to start

Brakes are fairly good since we done this job I have not really worked them that hard to overheat.

Did you loosen the Handbrake bands before taken off the Portal Axle? If not maybe its the Reason it doesn't really wanna come of at 10:20.On the Drum is a lip and normally the band does(should) not slip over it because its tight fit.

Hi Frank, We did end up loosening it up some more, it was all trial and error I’d never attempted this kinda job in the past. Fairly familiar with the workings of it now though.

We ended up having to bend it up slightly using the forklift, rough but it definitely helped so be gentle following my advice 😂👍🏻.

Great tractors, Very simple to work on, I used it all summer this year with no problems at all. Have a Massey 135 coming very soon which belonged to my late Father.

We only changed the seals were the splined shaft goes in, this job was the first I’ve ever worked on a tractor. Are you doing something similar?

@@RedShedProjectsScotland I am aye, Have brakes and clutch done ,. Getting crankshaft done at the moment Have new panels for it , Was one of the zetor s of the farm, was bought second hand 1988, A slow moving project , How many litres of paint did it take to spray yours ,

@@thomasmclaughlin2206I didn’t get the chance to enhance mine much further as we bought site to build a new house and it’s been working all summer. Hopefully after the house is finished il get a decent shed put up and il finish it probably. I bought 5 litres of Red and 2 litres of beige colour and had loads left over.

@@RedShedProjectsScotland Ok that not to much paint , any left over will do the 6718, I seen in a video you were thinking of putting on zetor cab , you would need a 6911 cab to fit that tractor because of the diesel tank , And you would need new clutch and brake pedals ,

@@thomasmclaughlin2206 I ment to refit the Duncan cab it came with its in quite tidy condition, although I like being able to just hop on and off without the cab. Probably only really use it in the better weather it’s currently under cover for winter, if I get time tomorrow I may do an update on what I’ve been up to with the new place.

Silly question, but is the PTO lever engaged? If it isn't engaged (shifted to the aft position) then the hydraulic pump isn't powered. If it is engaged and you can hear it running, then you likely have a problem with the valves in the lift cover.
