Yes, Stephen Ward, Senior Drum Major of the Coldstream Guards ... without doubt the most immaculate and professional Drum Major the Guards Division have ever had ... this guy is a legend with his personal drill and superb words of command ... no other Guards Drum Major has ever been anywhere close to his unbelievable standard.

Its sad but tv just really doesn't know how to do these theatre spectaculars anymore and guess what, back then they did - old ITV likes of LWT and a BBC that stood proud in actual television excellence. All vanished for good long since!!

I was there. I was in the U.S. Air Force at that time serving at RAF Upper Heyford. My two year stint at that base was coming to a close and I booked a 17 day tour of Europe. I had to get on a ferry the next morning, so I decided to spend one final day in London. In my previous trips to London, I never saw Buckingham Palace, so I went there. I had no knowledge of the "Trooping the Colour" ceremony. Sure took a ton of great photos that day!

I never grew up with the SLR rivals but man they looked really good, even as an American. It would make more sense if they used an old fashioned looking gun for ceremonial duties, like how we use this M14s in honor guards (or guard of honor). The new guns are fine but an old gun just fits ceremonial duties better than a modern gun.

Since the termed three distinct battles of the global battle lines that formed in 1998, those remember as the third battle and battle lines developed globally as well as by the Grace of GOD that the third could exist while rallying globally that where in courage, whatever doubts referenced or and of heard holding, that while the third battle you did not lack the courage to continue forward in responses, not knowing, knowing, yet still, even a unit and some platoon complements what it regards by not disheartened even on reflection on the termed third battle field and battle lines globally standing together to further confront. Hold such knowing in courage that thereby ensures such where VICTORY prevails. While the 8-9 from the battle first, to the lines for the 2nd battle, allowing a third battle and battle lines yet still where numbers to further the VICTORY that history may further reveal will prevail as the formations for the third battle grew from 120-to another 1700 then with 1800 (NATO) then allowing yet still to the 20,000 then 40,000 while the numbers of confronted understood, also understand what courage entails, as the global response rose thereby to and towards 1.2 million - 1.8 million standing to shoulder at arms in confrontations. What defines courage, history prevails.

Considering even such entailed, the one "blymy mate, what a fight" among the formed up elements of the Nato complement (considering)....where history may also allow the tale to carry on where age falters since the battles of 1998. A stalwart courier.
