Why I Ride ? Riding is one of the rare practises where I am completely by myself, fully concentrated and focused on the Moment. Love it. ❤

Secret? What's secret about this? You're just showing someone how to edit a landscape photo. I clicked because I thought there was a tool or something that was missing.

I bought my first motorcycle while I was in college back in 1975. It was a Kawasaki 100cc street & trail in order to get around my college town in Daytona Beach. I sold it a year later in order to purchase a car. I started riding again in 2009 on a Harley Nightster and that is the main means of transportation for me. I only drive my trucks in order to carry a heavy load. I love riding.

Another lovely film. Amazing composition of sound & film. Well executed Fred. Can I ask what camera you used to capture the footage & the software you used to craft the final product. Thank you.

First 4 seconds, "sound more important than video" DUH It is unfortunate you could not teach at film school. How many, so so so many, decent just crap sound, or crap Indie with great sound are out there.... never being recognized for what they truly are, whether excellent or drivel. Now will watch and learn your superior vocab on the why. cheers
@fredvanleeuwenАй бұрын
Thanks for the comment! You're absolutely right-sound is often the unsung hero in filmmaking, especially in indie productions. It's amazing how a film with great visuals can fall flat without proper sound design. I try to emphasize that balance in all my content. Hope you find some useful insights in the video. Cheers!

When I ride there are a few things I love, riding fast, riding slow, riding at my pace, stopping to look around. Taking a break from the mundane. My one supervisor said "thereperist", well I don't need a therapist, my bike is my "thereperie"

I try to explain why I ride to friends and acquaintances. They never seem to really understand. I think it’s similar to when a musician tries to explain why they are attracted to music. It’s personal and unique to every person.

Thanks for watching and commenting. Yep, in hindsight I could've slowed down the intro a bit more. At the time it felt fitting and I wanted to convey a sense of rhythm alongside the chaos of the turns on the coastal road.
