This is awful. I can't bear her wobbliness. This woman destroyed her voice at the beginning of her career by choosing a heavier repertoire. She's part of this pop-opera generation (Netrebko, Villazón, Garança, Eyvazov, etc.) that I do really hope dissapears. Too much fireworks and circus but zero vocality.

I simply love Diana Damrau, have enjoyed so many of her performances. One thing only, please forgive me, but I simply cannot stand these "nouveu" interpretations of operas which are supposed to take place in a different century, when society, mentality etc. were so different. Her performance is wonderful, but I still prefer the time-appropriate sets and costumes. I've sat through opera and ballet performances since childhood and I loved those productions. I think the composer had something specific in mind, and we should honour it, besides, those performances were so much more beautiful. It really made the event a very special, memorable experience. Thank you for allowing me to express my opinion.

i am speechless! the way she sings this aria in her own way, as a coloratura soprano, is not only beyond technical perfection, but also emotionally deep and true as i never heard it before! Diana Damrau's acting was always stunning - but here she shows all the facettes of the Comtessa Almaviva like i never saw it before.. perhaps by Dorothea Röschmann... Damrau's legato and lightness and endless breath is the olymp of Mozart singing! i am happy that she developed into a real Comtessa! Thanks, Diana Damrau for this wonderful performance!

Confesso que estou estasiado até hoje, ela, é impecável, extremamente afinada, entra nas personagens de uma forma única, fora que é de uma doçura e graciosidade sem tamanho. Sou fã e aplaudo de pé!
