i am speechless! the way she sings this aria in her own way, as a coloratura soprano, is not only beyond technical perfection, but also emotionally deep and true as i never heard it before! Diana Damrau's acting was always stunning - but here she shows all the facettes of the Comtessa Almaviva like i never saw it before.. perhaps by Dorothea Röschmann... Damrau's legato and lightness and endless breath is the olymp of Mozart singing! i am happy that she developed into a real Comtessa! Thanks, Diana Damrau for this wonderful performance!

Indeed, I think she forced herself into a tight schedule with roles that didn't fit her voice anymore. The Pandemic stop did good to her voice, giving her quite some time to rest properly and probably study and think better about her own repertoire.

Sehr gute Darstellung und schöne Stimme. Das Vibrato sollte sie besser im Griff haben. Sie muss was gemacht haben, denn eine Zeitlang drohte der Wobbel.
