@@user-cw3gb3vu9x "Learn Me Right" (June-July 2012) came out before "Not With Haste" (August 2012). It appears that Disney contracted Mumford & Sons to make a song for the movie, so they created this but had Birdy sing it (Birdy's voice fits the girl of the movie) The instruments and supporting vocals in the background are indeed being played by Mumford & Sons, it's technically not a cover. They just also took the song and put it on Babel later that year but had Marcus sing it instead.

I can't believe how little you know about: Marcus' statements about his faith (he rejects the label of "Christian), the theme of Man's struggle with faith essential to many of his songs, his missionary parents, and this traditional holiday song written in 1758. The song uses Jesus Christ as a symbol of the peace and grace we seek. If you sing "O Come All Ye Faithful" at Christimas, are you a MAGA?

I have no idea -- I've never been able to figure out why there's a cat. This EP came out like 6 months before Sigh No More, so it's hard to find much info on it since everyone was talking about the album and not the little EP

This was done live on radio for BBC 1. I don't have a date but based on a couple slightly different words and Marcus's voice, this is likely either late 2009 or early 2010. Most notably, there are no drums, and the song is a bit slower. The white noise was already there, I can't get rid of that.

Yo this is more awesome than the album version! Especially love the ascending vocals for 'In Twine'. Changing it up like the way he now performs some lines in The Cave, going up instead of down, gives me the musical chills and I love it
