Hi great video!! Im going on the Escape in late March so this is exactly what I needed to watch. I’m planning on eating at Cagneys as well but I decided to do the French bistro and the seafood restaurant, Bayamo. It’s a hard decision because that filet and ravioli you had at La Cucina blew my mind. There’s just so much to choose from. I also plan to eat at all their complimentary main dining rooms too just to get a different experience and feel every night. Also I’d like to add that the former Margaritaville is indeed now called the American Diner and it does serve breakfast and it is completely complimentary too. There’s seems to be some confusion on this comment thread if it’s free or not and I can assure everyone that it is. Just a little information I thought I’d share. Thanks again for the video. You made me even more excited about this cruise. Great job!

Well done. Going on the Spirit Alaskan Cruise next week. Food looks good. Portions in the main dining room look a bit small.

Same way you can get to King of the Mountain . I think Allure & maybe Oasis are the only Oasis class ships that have that sun deck that basically is not used. Too hot & windy. Probably why the newer ships added that space to the Solarium.

Moderno,Cagneys are just fabulous, Wish they also had an Indian Restaurant too.

I sailed to Alaska on the Legend in 2019. Almost the exact same ship as the Spirit. Minor cosmetic differences. Going back to Alaska on the Spirt in June.

The Carnival Spirit had the best gluten free pizza & had buffalo mozzarella so I could have a pizza.

Going on the Encore March 2024. Glad to see that the Garden Cafe and The Local are just as good as on the Bliss! Cagney's is a favorite of mine (always medium rare!) but find that the Teppanyaki is so loud, it gives me a headache, but the food is very good. Overall, the only so-so meal I've had on any NCL ship was at Ocean Blue.

I would say that depends on the type of cruiser. For me, it's weaker than the Royal Princess or HAL Pinnacle. For others, it's the best. For me, they forgot about lounges so it doesn't deliver. The Royal Princess class ships have so many of them as does HAL compared to really no interior lounges on this ship. They delivered with a variety of restaurants. 4 attractive ones for the MDR and a lot of attractive specialty ones with a really elevated one in the Danile Boulud. They have the familiar Cafe al Bacio. They totally improved the theater. The Club is a nice nightclub and has a lot of great tech but it doesn't have the ambiance of a swanky lounge for dancing and socializing. The Martini/Bar Grand Plaza is a hub area but it doesn't substitute for a stand alone lounge. It has that Edge area and that's like a secondary show lounge combo restaurant combo small group area for bands. The ship is super chic so it's disappointing about the lack of nice lounges. It needs one on the observation deck and at least one more somewhere on the ship. It does have bars though and outside lounges that are wonderful.

Does couch pull out to another bed?

We went on the carnival Spirit from Sydney in 2015 and the food was AWFUL.

My mom and I went on this ship back in 2010 and I wanted to see it again for a bit of nostalgia. We had a great time and the ship was lovely. Very good tour. Thanks!

This was wonderful information, my name is Patty and my family and I have been on several Carnival cruises but never on the Freedom. We are very excited to be on this ship and we leave September 11th 2023, in about a couple weeks.
