Let’s cut straight to the point. I just started working with Photomator, and I also consider buying Pixelmator Pro. But I’m really afraid that Apple will pull the plug on these applications and the money spent on lifetime subscriptions will be gone for good. Anything you can tell me to ease my mind?

It sounds like you worry too much about things far out of your control. Just live in the present, instead of worrying about the unwritten, and use the tools you have.

I think I finally found the product that can replace my Lightroom sub!!! My LRC is busy exporting tens of thousands of XMP files. I'll be playing with it this weekend. I am so hopeful! I think this will provide a workflow I can easily work with.

Hmm. It seems the Lightroom XMP files are essentially worthless. They don't bring develop settings over from Lightroom. It seems there isn't a way to keep develop settings from Lightroom when moving to Photomator. Oh well, the software looks great. I'll have to consider my next steps.

As an apple fan, I wanted to switch from Adobe Photoshop to Pixelmator Pro, but I had to choose Adobe because working in CMYK mode and Color Channels are essential for printing field.

Yo man, quick question - do I get it right that there is no way to prepare materials for printing in Pixelmator? (I am noob at graphic design, but sometimes I get to prepare some assets for printing) And would it be fixed if Pixelmator have added CMYK support?

Can you please do a KZbin video on how to remove purple fringing from photos and other optical defects that you can usually remove using Lightroom or Photoshop, I want to use this program as an alternative for using Adobe, which I find extremely expensive only being a hobbies that can’t justify the cost of paying a $25 monthly subscription.

When moving through photos, viewing each photo takes far too long for raw images (even on M3 Max), how do I get Photomator to generate previews for everything in the current folder, so I can move through images quickly?

I stopped watching your 9th episode on Pro Skin Retouching for the steps were too complicated for me, a newbie, to follow. This video however, is adding light to my cells of understanding😀. Let me repeat a request I have made on another video of yours. I wish you would consider a step by step tutorial for newbies to follow easily and learnt to master the tools Pixelmator Pro has. Tou do have a write up available for study under Apple Support, but, it will be really useful to have you make video based content of the same matters. Regards Dr. Somanna

Purchased this app only a few days ago without being aware of these awful kinds of features is has. I feel I have bought it for free! Though I have been into video editing with FCPX for nearly 12 years, I amazed at the vast things that can be done with images using Pixelmator Pro. Thank you Pixelmator. Pixelmator team, I have this request: I wish you would plan for a very thorough and systematic series of tutorials that will be of help to newbies such as me who are on the very first rung of the learning ladder curve. You have presently brought out only 78 videos, and I feel that these videos are too short and also assume that the viewers would be having some knowledge of the subject. I feel the subject is so vast that perhaps you would need to make at least 7000 videos to explain to your clients the immense capabilities of your app. I have requested a few KZbinrs to make such instructive videos for newbies, however, I feel that it would be your duty to sing praises of your app. Please bring out at least 700 tutorials for newbies🙏

Just discovered this and looking into it now. The batch editing may be a lifesaver for wedding edits of an eternity of photos to be edited. Hopeful. LONG TIME LRC user.

Integration with Apple Photos is excellent, right down to similarity with interface & functionality. Love the browser feature.

One couldn't implement the crop tool worse. Affinity did it much better. The entire Pixelmator is complicated. Why did Apple buy this unintelligent software? Nothing can be done quickly; everything is hidden somewhere.
