Hey there, I just watched your great video and was wondering if you have a how-to video on installing the outboard steering kit? I have a 5HP Suzuki motor and was wondering if it would be compatible with the kit. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hey man how's it going. I love your Johnny boat. I'm thinking about purchasing one. I am a big dude myself. I am built the exactly same size as you. We would definitely pass for twins with our size. I am a little over 300 pounds & I see how the Johnny bolt fits you very well. Also like how you had plenty of leg space. I also like your slider sandals you were wearing man. I wish i could wear slider sandals but I have to wear flip-flops because sliders won't fit on my feet because I have big very very extremely wide feet sz15 6 EEEEEE wide with very chubby fat wide toes that are equally straight across making my foot very very wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe. I also like how you cut your big toenail straight across. I cut my big toenail the same way straight across. That is just awesome how we do the same thing. I've been missing those good videos you been making buddy. Hopefully I can get me my Jolly boat and having setup just like yours. I want to wish you and your family a late Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. Hope you can make a video soon. Enjoy 2022.

Hey bud, I'm glad everything worked out. Followed you when you were in the Pool, lol. But know you're a big guy, but jonny fits you perfect. I'm the opposite. I probably have a minimum of $5,000 into my jonny, in orange. I always said I wanted a 21 ft bayliner or a 12 ft small job boat. After I purchased jonny, the add-on's were addicting. I have just the fixed pod, and my Suzuki 2.5. This is my 1st season, waited about 9 months for mine. Still doing my addon's. I'm 5ft 7" 153 lbs. I have a heart condition, so I meeded the trolling pod, my Suzuki, and course my paddle. My jonny has hit 11.8 mph. Probably because I'm light, just have 4 rods, 4 plano's, diy my little wheel cart. Overall wouldn't trade it for anything!! Be safe god bless.🤟🙏🎣

@@ZampostOk as far as Jonny goes no flex in the transom that I could ever notice. Of course I had the Motor mount plate on there as well. The transom is really beefy and may even have some metal framing under inside the hull. Not sure. I love it and used it often, unfortunately we just bought a new house and had to sell it due to lack of Space. I just had too many toys 😬😬

Hi! Nice test drive. But can you tell me: why you say that this hull is for planning? Except of the tail of course. I see, that nose of that hull is not so sharp. Bottom is like of trimaran or something, with waves from boat, are trapped inside, while moving. Is this the reason you say it's not for paddling, but for planning?
@road2therunway4 жыл бұрын
Yes. The folks at FeelFree designed this boat more like a flat bottom John boat than a kayak. It does have the two bulbous outer hull areas but they are much smaller than on traditional fishing kayaks of this size that are made for paddling. These are necessary to still provide stability but the vast majority of the hull is pretty flat. Traditional kayaks are built to attempt to have the least amount of boat touching the water as possible to eliminate resistance to motion. This isn’t really necessary with the Jonny boat since it is designed to be powered by at least 2 hspr.
@alexmanru4 жыл бұрын
@@road2therunway Thank you so much! You solved my questions 😄. I was wondering for a long time about what is best for paddling kayak, to be fast as much as stable: flat hull, rounded hull and reversed hull, like in this kayak, as you say, not really big bulbous outer areas, or something else? How about off shore conditions? What kind of hull will be better against waves?
