Bella didn’t choose Jacob only for one reason 😅he didn’t imprint on her so she felt insecure in future he may imprint on someone and leave her. Also choosing Edward one best thing she can live longer 😊

I still don't get why people get upset or freaked out about the imprinting. It is explained very specifically in the first or second movie I think when Jacob describes it to Bella. It's a bond formed of protection and connection. And they even added the part when Jacob says that Edward would not let him live if he had any weird feelings towards her. How else could they have described it so it wasn't weird?
