"Souls like difficult." But imagine if there was a souls-like leveling system! Use rupees to increase how many hearts you've got or add Double Defense over one existing heart, increase weapon strength, stamina meter, increase magic meter. To best counter balance this, remove all pieces of heart from the overworld/quests/etc and replace the fairy's double magic reward, increase the health/damage/ animation speed of the bosses progressively stronger.

I'm quite happy that you mention the menu easter eggs, TM LOVES putting so many Easter Eggs that every day at TerminalMontage must be Easter day, my favorite ref that was included was the Sly Cooper Cane along with the Geno outfit in the dive before the underwater ambush, leading to Link to go "angry hispanic mode"

These mods look nuts! Both difficulty and just really pretty. Also more remakes need a before and after toggle like that.

Not to sound like a know it all, but i been knew all the messages and real life lessons shigeru and Anouma put in this master piece. i love this game more than any other game. ocarina of time is not a game... its a lore. Ocarina of time is literally the best game ever made, its success is beyond rivaled by any other Nintendo game. it won multiple awards, its appear on all Nintendo platforms since release. Hero shade being link from oot brought me to tears... when i first learn that beating Twilight princess i hade to ball my eyes out. OOT is a reflection of life. This game taught me life at a young age. time changes everything, relationships, places, nature, etc.

There's no better Link than the Hero of Time. I feel like I've seen this analysis or another deep one similar. There's a million OoT videos but there are a few that are total gold. Part of the magic of OoT and MM is that they end abruptly with ambiguity. The tragic unknown fate as to how Link became the Hero's Shade... who knows. I always like to make an even sadder theory. My scenario would contradict some stuff but why not lol: The Hero's Shade is not the true Link, but a reflection of him. The part he left behind when leaving his world again. Perhaps a combination of his feelings and a part of the magic from the Ocarina. Since TP Link is descended from him, he obviously had a kid with someone. Because of the subtext, I'm going to say Malon. But imagine this Link as an adult felt a new calling he couldn't resist. Then one day as an adult, he plays some ultimate song, let's say song of the goddess from SS, on the Ocarina and unlocks its full power. A portal opens up and Link understands. He is terrified. He's being pulled through. He tries to resist. Then Navi shows up. She left to return for this moment; to give Link courage. He goes through the portal, and arrives in the Temple of Time in the same way he did on that lost journey as if he had just pulled out the Master Sword as a kid again. The game ends with Sheik waiting for him. "I've been waiting for you, Hero of Time." This is the downfall timeline. It was all the same Link. And we know his tragic fate. So happy to see people still enjoying this story and interpretations of it!!!

In my opinion, the Hero of Time is the saddest incarnation of Link we have seen so far. On his journey, Link suffered a lot, including the loss of his parents during the Hyrule civil war, which is tragic. His childhood was stolen from him when the Great Deku Tree called for him via Navi. A 9-year-old boy is forced to fight deadly enemies and help the races of Hyrule with their problems. He is then fooled by Ganondorf, and the sages put him to sleep, stealing most of his teenage years from him so that he could wield the Master Sword, still basically having the mind of a 9-year-old child. He made friends and even had love interests during his journey, but after the defeat of Ganondorf, he is sent back by Zelda to his own time, stripping him of all his relationships. Additionally, his closest friend, Navi, leaves him. But his suffering does not stop there. In search of Navi, he is cursed by Skull Kid into a Deku scrub, which terrifies him. Trapped in the dimension of Termina, Link must solve even sadder fates and heal cursed souls. Every time he puts on a transformation mask, Link feels the suffering of the soul within the mask. After Majora's Mask, Link grew up and likely got a girl (the hints mainly point to Malon), but after his death, his soul could not rest until he taught his ancestor, the Link from Twilight Princess, all the relevant things to progress and defeat Ganondorf for good.

When you are a kid you earn the spiritual stones and when you are an adult you earn the sage medallions. I like to think that the stones represent nature made items and the medallions represent man made items.

A lot of people are very optimistic about this remake but there’s nothing really to worry about , there’s nothing they can fuck up story wise , only technologically . The graphics & gameplay look exponentially better. It also seems that they’ve gave Big Boss new cqc attacks . I’m more than sure that they put MGSV type cqc in this remake with a bit of a better touch, new moves & maneuvers Big Boss can do. I wouldn’t say this is a story wise remake but a Technical remake. 😊

Actually I do think snake looks perfect. I'm not sure what people are seeing, it's mind boggling. They took some liberties with the boss but she is 42 year old, sad, war torn woman who obviously isn't going to use any makeup either. She was well kempt and perfect looking in the OG and it took me until this trailer to realize that this remake IS the true look of the boss as it pertains to her arch.

For me helldivers just naturally reached its conclusion, everything is maxed out and I have nothing to do but the same thing I've been doing, ill definitely come back for the illuminates, however tarkov is just dead to me, have loved the game for years now and put up with their bullshit but the unheard scam was just too much, why the hell did I pay 150 bucks for everything coming to game only to not get access? No matter how much they tease all the cool things we've waited years for. Too little too late

Helldivers isn't dying, people usually don't play one game forever. They may or may not come back when new content gets released, that's probably up to updates' quality (the game has balance issues, they just nerf stuff that is fun to use)m I personally cycle between multiple games like that. It was actually that insane player retention that was the anomaly, not the players number drop

I recent played wuthering waves. Basically completed it just need the "endgame" towers. I can't finish them, it's basically a struggle to play now. I'm bored of it. Xdefient is ass, I'll stay with Apex Legends.

EFT is just in it's very normal end of wipe cycle. This has happened every 3 months out of a 6 month wipe cycle, so that's twice a year. People don't always play every single wipe but major changes tend to bring most of the playerbase back. I've supported the game and company since 2017/2018, and while they've had many PR blunders none of them has been as bad as this latest one. It's like the straw that broke the camels back, before you could make the arguments that it was a mistake out of naivety or incompetence, or that there's a cultural difference, or any number thereon. The man running the ship is clearly not to be trusted, his word means nothing and they've just gone back on all the things they promised they wouldn't do that are negatives in the industry as well. However, EFT is still the only game in town like this. There's simply nothing else that will provide the experience that it does. So people might jump off for a few months for a new game but those new games don't do what EFT does. So sometime in June when the next wipe cycle starts up, we'll see how many people have soured on EFT and BSG. Right now it's really all just talk and people in the EFT community really have no trouble forgetting the bullshit, the blunders, etc. I know I'm done but I know for a fact gamers aren't a principled group of people.

Id bet my paycheck those addicts will be right back on Tarky on wipe day.
