When I learned how to do this the flags were smaller on wood sticks with baton ends. I still do it when i'm walking around With a hand towel. I'm going to make a pair for my granddaughter and teach her how. You're very good by the way i'm glad I watched the video.

Immensely helpful! I learned to weave on poi first from a poi spinner and this helped solidify what to do with the hoop because that thumb movement is key!

I’ve been hooping for three months, and this is a bit of a challenge for me, and I don’t quite understand it yet (purely because I’m newer to hooping in general) and I’ve watched half of it and THANK YOU SO MUCH. this makes perfect sense. I have more practicing to do with hand hooping all around, but now I at least understand the mechanics of this trick. Props to you girl because YOU make sense out of everyone else (to me) I have not learned it yet, but with practice this is so possible thanks to you. #2021
