Not sure if anyone said it already, but the reason for the extra border of pixels is that the screen will occasionally shift pixels around to avoid burn in. Basically taking the whole picture and moving it up (or left, down, right) by a pixel or two to avoid burn in

I recently got the Gigabyte version of this monitor and it likes to randomly shutdown after a few hours of usage, I assume the pixel cleaner is to blame but I can't be certain. Does this monitor do something like that?

@VeryIntenz hi today the monitor said it would shut down in 30 seconds if I didn't press ignore. So basically it would have shut down if I didn't confirm I wanted it to stay on. But it didn't shut down without a warning. Hope that helps

It’s sucks you can’t turn off pixel shifting like the c1 but it’s what you have to deal with to prevent temporary image retention on OLEDS

If you got a C1 there are a lot of secrets you can do to increase the brightness of the TV in game optimizer mode. Putting Module HDR forced on under SDR in the service menu is one of them

Having desktop icons that small can only mean one of three things... You're casting your PC's display on a TV-screen-sized monitor/light projecting device... Or you've just got really REALLY good eyesight and are viewing this all on an average(as in, within a relatively healthy range where you can still technically carry the thing) small-(but more likely)large-sized(1920-1080, heck if I know of 2560-1440 screen sizes being a thing, but sure) laptop screen.

I'm abit paranoid about my PC doing some annoying crap where it resets the size back to default, or I accidentally scroll and the primary monitor gets cluttered/the clutter goes on my other monitors, which wouldn't be soooo bad if my PC could reliably recall where I placed things, eve after I unplug the HDMI cables... <- This guy has trust issues

Regarding your previous video where Cinebench R23 is tested, it seems that comments are disabled in that video. The score is amazing at just 5.7 GHz. Yesterday I set my bios on the intel default profile using my 14900ks and it has the same score at 5.9 GHz on all pcores and 4.5 on ecores around 43 318. As for the temperature, my Mo-Ra 420 pro is not even sweating at 300w with a maximum of 50 degrees at 1.3v. What was your power consumption and voltage? It would be best if you said that you have tuned your bios, windows, also disabled processes, and maybe without antivirus or other tweaks to achieve that.. I did not do any of this. For me as a normal user, I am pretty happy with my CPU.

8000 is hard enough to get stable and there's very little benefits of going beyond 8000 especially for gaming and I don't like to use high voltages

Did you swap to a different bios? And you can run the memory controller SP test and get different results, different bios versions will affect this as well

That's why you have a different score, has to do with different voltages being used for different bios. Normal behavior as far as I know. Also you can retest where it says "get MC SP" and get a different score without any change to bios. Alot of people say the MC score shouldn't be taken too seriously, I would have to agree...

@RuiN4265 some people can't even run cinebench r15 extreme on stock settings and lots are reporting game crashing I've personally had no problems with game crashing but I haven't pushed my cpu to the limit and the 14900ks is pushed to the limits out the box Im lucky i have a very good bin (SP 106) (P core sp 116) (E core sp 88)( MC 81) that's probably why I'm not having any problems with mine

The 1st thing I tried was cinebench r23, and my score went up. So performance was slightly better. The temps were also better, but nothing special. I'm not pushing the system to it's limit so until I do, it won't matter too much

This information is only for copper cooling blocks not for nickel plated blocks. Aio's usually have copper blocks so this video would apply to them!

I guess only the Apex has those preloaded profiles. Wish my Strix board had that. I’ve got a Corsair 7200 c34 kit that will run Xmp stable but can’t get any more out of if without errors. I can run 7400 and won’t crash but won’t pass memtest.

I only use 1440p but there's plenty of benchmark videos on KZbin that will show the difference. I personally wouldn't buy into a dead upgrade path I'd wait for 15th gen if I was to build a new setup.

Every cpu & motherboard & ram is different and needs different voltages to operate some need more voltage than others
