I'd really rather hear what they're SAYING, instead of always having some pop song playing in the background -- but THIS one was less intrusive than so many "Jakki" clips, so thanks for that. We're still in earlier seasons in Canada -- but honestly, the way Nikki keeps jumping into bed with different guys, while big gentle Jack is always there in the background trying to pretend he's not jealous, it's just painful to watch. Guys like Jack often have trouble expressing their feelings -- but if she gives him up, she must have rocks in her head.

I adore, adore, adore the yin/yang relationship between Geordie and Will, and the fact that both have some kind of deep rage and sadness simmering just beneath the surface for differing reasons that occasionally bubbles to the surface. I think Sidney’s storyline had reached its conclusion and it was time to change gears with a new vicar as the 1950s comes to a close and at the dawn of a turbulent 1960s decade that tested everything we knew about life. I can’t wait for Season 7 (I already watched Season 6 to its conclusion, wondering if Leonard has now been permanently defrocked and if Henry stays the new curate to keep tensions running high between the bishop and Will). That’s apparently going to take us into the dawn of the 1960s and everything that was all about. Can’t wait! Long live Grantchester! ❤️
