You can simply use the Slice tool in Figma to generate individual slices for each element of the carousel. Once the slices are set up, you can easily export them as separate square images, making it quick and efficient to create individual assets for your carousel.

i am working on something that is very similar to this except I want the text box to actually stay visible if user navigates their mouse in the text box but instead it disappears bcuz technically, their mouse is no longer hovering over the original trigger. goal: mouse enters trigger or mouse hovering over trigger -> opens overlay. mouse leaves or no longer hovering -> closed overlay UNLESS user is hovering over overlay. any solutions?

Regarding Text Variable / Content Section - As you may be aware Figma's UI has changed dramatically since this video series. To add a text property: Click the purple container label of your variants. On the sidebar, right of 'Properties' click the '+' icon, and add a 'Text' property. You'll get a warning next to your variable saying "Not used within component". If you click your text layers, (not the text parent layer, the actual text layer) either one by one or by using the 'Multi-edit Variants' button. (Shortcut: Q, or button right of Text on the sidebar.) Hover your mouse over the right of the text bar and icon will appear called 'Apply variable/property'. Apply your new text proper from the dropdown there. A bit nuanced but explained as in-depth as I could.

Bruh, ya gotta slow down. I've watched this video 50 times. Somewhere in the 7-8 minute the tutorial falls apart completely. (Apparently it's the most watched for a reason.) Also, Figma is constantly changing its UI so it's almost impossible to follow step for step. I could never get this to work.

That is really helpful; thank you. It works perfectly when the height of the top-level frame (the screen) is set to fixed. However, when I set the height of the top-level frame to hug contents, it jumps up and down. Do you have any idea what I am doing wrong?

I find it very difficult to complete the tutorial because there are steps that are not explained 🤔, which were possibly done using keyboard shortcuts that are not shown in the video. It’s a shame because it’s a good tutorial 👍, but without those steps, I can’t continue or finish it 😔.

I'm hating rounded stuff so much. Rounded lcds, rounded buttons, rounded ui. It's sooo bad. I've never met anyone that likes it. Just give us corners back or give us an option to choose what we want to see instead of forcing it.
