I was 12 when this came out and my mom wouldn't let me go to see it because of the nudity but when I waa 14 she let me go see the original Last House on the Left. My friends and I were traumatized😂

I’ve never seen so many pretty people in a movie. These days the selected characters are a little more attractive than people in the background but almost everyone in that room is pretty

back in 1960-70s, it was the age of straight hair, bell bottoms and ultra thinness. very lithe, small bone structures and no fat anywhere for both men and women.. admittedly, beauty standards are a little different now. bigger bone structures, more androgynous, and women visually projecting personal strength and independence. (eg jolie, runway models etc) beauty trends come and go. wouldn’t surprise me if the waif-like youthful, fragile look may come back again.. 😆 but who knows

This is my favorite version of "Romeo and Juliet". Olivia Hussey was only 15 years old when she did this movie, so the youth of Juliet really showed in this movie. Olivia Hussey was also in Tim Curry's version of "It". She played Bill's wife, Audra. This version is "Romeo and Juliet" is such an incredible movie and so well done to Shakespearean standards, in my opinion.😎👍

The idea was to recreate the story as close as possible to the environment it was imagined on. The cast is directed with incredible care, growing from the dialogues to the expressions and back. Many later versions are recreated with modernized environments because there is really no point on repeating what was done so well once.

One if my fave movies. First time watching was in HS. Our English teacher took our class on a field trip to see this in a theater. So loved the actress who played Juliet that I told myself if I ever have a daughter I'd name her Olivia. Fast foward two sons later & no daughter, one of my sons said that if his future wife has a daughter, he'll name her Olivia. ❤
