These are so festive looking for Memorial day, Independence Day and Labor day! I knew the hack to make cake box cookies but never heard of cake box whoopie pies! I always wondered how to make them bc they are between cake and cookies in their density and texture, but you nailed it! Now I'm thinking of......ya know..... HALLOWEEN ONES!!! So. Many. Combinations! (I mean I guess there are other holidays too 🤷♀️ ) But you could do orange w/ dark choclate filling, there's a super yummy triple chocolate flavor of cake that would be beautiful with orange filling, then you could delve into purple and green combos. Oh, for summer it could be lemon with a pretty ocean colored filling or sunset color. I'm glad hubby likes whoopie pies bc I think I'm going to be making a lot LOL Thank you for another great recipe 😘🎃

These cookies look so bright and festive and easy peasy for July 4th or any time, really. So happy to see you explain the food color thing. A lot of people don't know that. And when you dumped all your dry stuff into your wet stuff I was like YES!!! (I do that too) But girl..... I love that you are wearing a Halloween shirt (which I'm obsessed over but wish I could see the whole thing lol) while filming summer cookies!

hahahahaha ... the only clean/not covered in epoxy shirts I own are either Halloween themed or have venus flytraps on them!!! ... and maybe a Merle Haggard shirt somewhere ... and yes!! food coloring 101 is a must talk about thing because I have ruined recipes because of those things :) and thank you for the cookie love.. this was a remake of an old recipe and it needed a facelift so it was a super fun video to make .. one of these days i will have an island in my kitchen and i will do a proper video but at least this way they are a bit shorter as we know i can get wordy! hahaha xoxox

Ooooo another yummy recipe! I'm definitely going to make these. We eat chicken all the time and it never occurred to me to make chicken meatballs. Love the idea of freezing the extras. Great idea, thank you!

girl.. i add these little things to everything!!!! lol .. pasta? check! subs? check!!! salads? check!!!! .. downside is that my herd of freeloading dogs now know what they smell like when they are cooking and they somehow feel they are entitled to half the pan so yeah... puppy approved too :)

how does this freeze? Also how long is jarlic or tubes of ginger good for?
@awickedwhisk4 ай бұрын
hi there! so ginger in a bottle or a tube can usually last 2-3 months in the fridge so thats super convenient!!! .. as far as the freezing, you would want to cook your chicken without the sauce.. bring it to room temp and then move it to a large zip top bag... make your orange sauce, again bring to room temp and add that to a separate ziplock bag and then freeze them.. you want to keep them separate.. then when you are ready, remove from the freezer, defrost in your fridge overnight and then warm up on the stove and serve with some fresh rice :)

What did you do with the inside of the potatoes
@hannahpham31212 жыл бұрын
Hi. I cook potatoes wrapped in a wet paper towel for around 3 minutes, each. Then I would bake them. Mini potatoes take less time.

So if you gotta bake the potatoes for 50 minutes, how the hell is this a 30 min recipe? You using a time turner or somethin?!
