Where do you get the handle bars? Could you drop the link?
@silas.andersonАй бұрын
Just go on Amazon or aliexpress and search pro taper bars. Tons of ads with the bars, grips, foam piece, and the adapters. You will need new bolts to bolt the bars onto the Navi but it’s cheap to find new ones. Downside js the bars are so low they can hit the panels of the Navi, this makes the bar lock not functional, you can get risers instead to raise it just enough to make it work but theft isn’t a issue where I live really so I haven’t been worried.

Ya it’s kmh only so far. In a week or two I’m making a pt2 or second video on a new dash I found. I think this one in the video looks better but the one I’m going to make my new video on should be insanely visible during the day. It uses the same type of screen that my tachometer in the video uses. You do have to install a magnetic speed sensor but it doesn’t seem hard to do, the backlight color you can also change and everything on the new dash and possibly show your rpm’s on it which skips needing to get a tach!!!!

I have 12g rollers right now and a s23 clutch and bell housing, would you recommend switching to 11g rollers and back to stock bell housing?
@silas.anderson3 ай бұрын
Keep the setup you have now id say. Are you hitting the rev limiter and what speeds are you hitting? Also only oem part I strongly recommend is the oem variator if you’re chasing top speed. The clutch and clutch bell should be fine even tho I personally am not a fan of s23 stuff but it’ll be better then oem clutch setup still. If you are really chasing the perfect setup you could fine tune you’re weights and everything but me personally 12 gram is so close to 11g it wouldn’t help significantly. If you wanted sliders for example in the future maybe try 11g which is what I’m running and they do great but I also weigh barely anything compared to some people.
@chrisdelangel32693 ай бұрын
yes I’m hitting the rev limiter I think but also no tachometer. I’m hitting right at 55-56 downhill. Okay I will keep that in mind and same, a buck 30 this way. I’m looking to hit a good top speed maybe 60-65

@@silas.anderson so if you keep the variator stock, don’t grind it, use a mix of 10 gram 13 gram sliders , do you think it would give you the gains in top speed? What about using an S23 variator with slider weights ?

S23 variator is not good. all my testing I did with it, and it just barely could break 97kmh on the dash at best. Also I’m running modified variator and 11g sliders, no issues or anything and it works amazingly. And I just mean there’s no washer at all in the cvt when it’s stock, maybe if it’s a used one and someone shimmed it before but I don’t recall a washer at all in the whole cvt system on the 3 Navis I’ve worked on. Only time there was washers was with a s23 variator or me installing one or two for testing only

what size jets did you put in the nibbi 19 on the navi?
@silas.anderson3 ай бұрын
I honestly can’t remember, but it was a guess that 100% isn’t right. Also jetting depends a ton on location, temp, humidity so I suggest learning yourself to tune a carb especially if your modding your own Navi and stuff. It’s a lot of effort to do so but very worth it.

The same advice for future. 1. Clean as good as possible bike from dirt and degree ,before you do any job on the bike. Dirt will get in the cylinder or inside the engine and will destroy it. 2. Take the engine out of the frame and do any necessary work with it. I such case you will save a time and have access to all spots easy.

I didn’t buy it, there’s 2 oem ones there both I made. The first one I made way way back when I first got the Navi and way before my KZbin channel. This video was using a friends oem one as a demonstration. But trust me it seems scary and daunting but it’s super easy honestly. At worst buy a second oem one straight from Honda to do it on. Just call the local Honda motorcycle place and ask for a variator with a part number or something, it won’t be much I assume. A whole cvt cover for me to make my cvt cut out was like $60 Canadian.
