Way to get her running again! We're dropping some 19mm Nibbi's into a couple Navi's soon. Thanks for the vid!

Ya np! Should’ve filmed the actual nibbi instal process in another video dedicated to it but wanted to at least make a quick video on everything while I had time. Still not anywhere near your level of editing 😪😂

Great work on the video and getting the bike running! This will help alot of people in the future.

The same advice for future. 1. Clean as good as possible bike from dirt and degree ,before you do any job on the bike. Dirt will get in the cylinder or inside the engine and will destroy it. 2. Take the engine out of the frame and do any necessary work with it. I such case you will save a time and have access to all spots easy.

Thanks for the suggestion.

You need to check the copression, and see were thats at seeing it had no air filter , all that dirt may have scored the cylinder. If it has compression clean the carb it will run 😁

i did this knowing he was going to do the bbk soon, he had it machined out them with new piston and rings so it didn't matter much anyways.

Wondering if an Ali express 19 mm carb would fit on Navi.? The bolt pattern is the same for the intake manifold. Unfortunately the budget Ali express carbs don’t come with the throttle cable, but there is an exact same one to the nibbi on Ali for about $40 cad that might be complete kit.
@silas.anderson4 ай бұрын
Yes they would, they’re a nibbi clone I believe. How well they work I’m unsure but I’m sure they’d be fine. All pwk cables (I believe they’re called) work btw.
@flyinphil424 ай бұрын
@@silas.anderson yes , pwk is the name. Just need to get a cheap coolant hose for intake pipe and a pod filter . Can’t wait for part 2 , the top speed test !
@silas.anderson4 ай бұрын
@@flyinphil42 well this navi is my frtiends which i dont have access to anymore at least now. i definitly could do a speed test sometime tho possibly. his carb is not jetted properlly..... hence the flames but i was more focused on making it run and diagnosing it mainly and rejet later down the road.

@@silas.anderson do you have any idea how many turns the air fuel screw should be turned out on stock carb ? I must comment that despite Navi being a 110 cc , with this stock 16 mm carb it performs more like a 50 cc , idles very rough too . I checked my carb when it was off , it has a 48 mm distance between bolt holes on the intake . How many metres length do I need to buy for throttle cable with nibbi carb ? I suppose stock throttle cable is not compatible?
@silas.anderson4 ай бұрын
@@flyinphil42 i can't speak about the air fuel screw since it can change depending on way too many factors based on elevation, temp, humidity, mods, and a lot more. For throttle cable i used to know but can't find the length anymore, its super long though as it runs down the handle bars, down the handle bar stem, into the plastic floor board, up the head of the engine, then to the carb, the way i routed mine and my friends was down the handle bars then into the empty space behind the side panels then directly to the carb. Also apparently the oem throttle cable can be modified to be used from what ive heard but i didn't look into it, join the subreddit or Navi Performance Group on Facebook as im sure the people who would have done that are on there.

I have a 1977 XL125 and it was running bad for months. After trying everything to figure it out I just bought a nibbi PE22 and it runs like a new bike. Chinese aren’t all that bad
@silas.anderson4 ай бұрын
Ya I don’t doubt it, I just personally have no experience with Chinese carbs. But I do have a ton of Chinese things, my whole Navi is basically 😂

if i need a fully break pedals parts from where i can buy it ? and thx for the content
@silas.anderson3 ай бұрын
Not sure what you’re saying sorry. But if you need parts from what I can understand phone the local Honda motorcycle dealer you got the Navi from or ones that sell the Navi. I needed a new cvt cover incase I messed mine up making my clutch cover cut out and it was $60 Canadian for the whole metal piece.
@midge7533 ай бұрын
what size jets did you put in the nibbi 19 on the navi?
@silas.anderson3 ай бұрын
I honestly can’t remember, but it was a guess that 100% isn’t right. Also jetting depends a ton on location, temp, humidity so I suggest learning yourself to tune a carb especially if your modding your own Navi and stuff. It’s a lot of effort to do so but very worth it.

Not just the carb the valves seats will have taken a beating if there was no filter on there and the probably don’t have no compression unless two-stroke engine
@silas.anderson4 ай бұрын
Yep this is true, but he wouldn’t be able to do a top end rebuild either…… plus with the abuse he does to this honestly just wait for it to be completely done before considering that. Also what happened was the filter broke/fell off the carb and got stuck between the wheel and case of the engine and he didn’t realize, I don’t think it was ran lien that for too long but either way not good at all.
