Joiplay is gone from the Play Store, but you can still download and install it through a web browser. I go over it in the tutorial. I would recommend downloading from the JoiPlay Patreon :)

Thanks! This is an amazing set to start out with, so many fun cards. 151 is about a year old so you can still find it in stores, but it's very popular and tends to sell out quick. If you're on Reddit, I would check out the PKMNTCGDeals subreddit. People post restocks and sales of products which can be helpful :) Target, Best Buy and Dollar General tend to carry them semi frequently from what I've seen. Good luck! 😁

Yea! I've seen they also have $10 off a $40 purchase that people have been using to get a good deal on a bunch of them. I just wouldn't know what to do with that many posters 😂 it would feel bad throwing them out

I would try redoing it with the Patreon site, that seems to fix a lot of issues

Did your Vanguard game folder move at all since you were last playing? Not sure what else would have caused it to error out if it was working before

You don't want the folder to move, I was just asking if you had moved it to see if that was the issue. I would try uninstalling and reinstalling everything, try to use the Patreon to download JoiPlay and the RPG Maker Plug-in. If you want to try an fix it without reinstalling, I would try Google searching the error message you're getting and see if there's any info out there on it. I found a few things but it's hard for me to troubleshoot the issue since it's not happening to me

There is sound, I just wasn't recording it while I was making the tutorial. But the game definitely has a soundtrack

Nice! The developer may have updated the game/patch download to include the .json file, so that would make sense. It's hard to keep a tutorial up to date when the game is continuously receiving updates lol glad you got it working!

@@Quinstafon hey thanks for replying! I bought it from Troll and Toad. The packs were all crinkled with whitish seal marks, not sure if it's bad quality control or tampered with.

They could just be in bad shape, I doubt they handle them with much care. There's a chance they were tampered with, but usually larger companies don't risk doing stuff like that. But who knows, I haven't bought from them since making this video so I may be a little out of touch lol Champions Path also has terrible pull rates so if you didn't pull any hits that's pretty standard with that set sadly

Found it! So you need to locate your save file on the computer first. Open file explorer on your computer and navigate to "C:\Users\'your user name'\Appdata\Roaming\Pokemon Vanguard". Another way of getting there is to use the "save file location" link in the Project Vanguard Pre-Release folder on your computer. Your save file should be in here title something like "File A.rxdata". Of course if you have multiple saves, it may be "File B", "File C", etc.. Once you've found this file, you need to send it to your phone. My advice would be to make a copy of the save and send the copy, that way you still have the save on your computer just in case. You have a couple options for file transfer, you can plug your phone directly into you computer (most charging cables can transfer data), you can email the file to yourself and open the email on your phone to download the save, you could use a file sharing service like dropbox.. any of these methods should work. Once you've decided on your transfer method, you need to move that save file copy into the main "Project Vanguard Pre-Release" folder on your phone. The save needs to be in the same folder as the game.exe file. Once your "File A.rxdata" save has been moved into that folder, you should be able to play :) Hope that helped and wasn't too wordy! 😅

The only "menu" I've been able to pull up is the one that gives you access to a shop and healing. I got to it by clicking "f8" or the "wand" icon at the top

I'm still working on a full fix for the photos appearing in the gallery, but I have some steps to fix most of it. Go into your phone's settings and search for "show hidden files". Turn on the option to show hidden files. Open the MyFiles app on your phone and go into the "Vanguard Pre Release" folder. There should be a file in there called ".nomedia". Copy this file into the "graphics" folder. That should remove most of the pictures that went into your gallery. A few of them will be left, I'm trying to find where they are located so I can stop the gallery from reading those too

Copy the .nomedia into the "Dist" folder and "Plugins" folder and that should clear out all the pictures in your gallery

@Quinstafon i got them from the patreon but I'm using the latest joiplay version 1.20.400 which is an open beta version I guess maybe it's not fully optimized?
