I gotchu with the tcg knowledge: VStar markers (sometimes covering for the energy of the pack) are used to indicate if the player used their VStar power. Every pokemon VStar has a VStar power that can only be used once per game. Once the player uses it, they flip over their VStar marker to show that the once per game effect has been used. Usually they have physical token markers for VStar powers that would come in etbs, much like the GX markers from the SM era, but throwing them in packs as cards makes it a bit more accessible for everyone. The blue/purple swirled colors around the Shiftry, Fantina, and Magcargo indicates that it uses the Lost Zone mechanic. All cards that have effects that involve the lost zone (both pokemon and trainer cards) have that appearance around the card. Which is a really neat detail and visual indicator. Great pulls :)

I opened one of these tins and got a hit in every pack! One secret, one regular V, and a TG pull. These tins are loaded, but the salamence promo wasnt holo.
