Those chickens are great but are full of non-carnivore and unhealthy ingredients. It's in their brine.

Completely agree - but they are easy and great for beginners trying to get started and not be overwhelmed with the prep portion (especially those new to cooking) once the basics are routine it is easy to continue going “cleaner” in options!

🤣🤣🤣 I get that - there is powdered fancy parm at the store - but this one is a more cost effective option for folks - if you use shredded you won’t get the same binder effect

Please stop labeling these carnivore recipes. Its not. Keto. Gravy packs have maltodextrin,thats worse than sugar for carnivores.

I'm down here on the coast. Can I bring my Tillamook cheese to hubby to grate for me? 😂 This looks delish. I just cooked up a bunch of taco meat last night to replenish my freezer stash. Depending on how many ingredients I have on hand, I might be able to make some of this today. Thanks for the recipe!

For the pot roast I used a chuck roast from Costco - they come 2 to a pack. I also love to get ones from HEB if I don’t want a massive amount of meat

I love them! Was never a fan of the “shirataki” type - the smell was immediately a no lol. These are egg white ones - make sure you don’t just get “miracle noodle” because they have both shirataki (gross) and egg white. They are linked in my Amazon storefront from the description in Carnivore pantry items - they go out of stock quite a bit so I usually buy a couple boxes!

Just an FYI to anyone new to this way of eating, rice is not carnivore, not even keto. It is a starch and startch turns to sugar. It will raise your blood sugar, making it harder to lose weight. What I do in replacement of rice is use riced cauliflower. I buy it in a frozen bag. It's so versatile for so many dishes. Cauliflower mash is a great replacement for mashed potatoes. I add butter, salt, garlic powder and a little heavy cream. It's so good! 😋 Thanks for the recipe, I'm making this tomorrow. Looks like a great comfort food.

Laura's "just stay carnivore" has gotten me through a LOT. And when I can't stay carnivore, at bare minimum I stay keto. Meat. Or meat and above-ground vegetables. Never sugar or grains. But mostly "just stay carnivore."

Hey there is this Kristie Clark!! I just wanted noted when you go viral I was here in the beginning haha I would like to know your lymphatic routine. I don't know if that is the correct word but as I drop weight my chin I feel like is starting to look like a chicken neck. I may be a little paranoid but now all I am getting is these adds to buy that supposedly helps with that. I don't know what is real and what is a scam. I also soooo need to do like a formal funeral for all my junk food and carbs. I mean they have been apart of my life for so long I want to say adios to them all!! Excited to watch more videos!!!

Just started carnivore.Im not trying to lose weight so I’m going to keep the dairy. I wonder about spices that are from vegetables or plants. Are these ok for carnivore for you and others?
@Cidfloyd6 ай бұрын
Any type of plant or spice would not be considered Carnivore as carnivore is animal products with salt and electrolytes. However, eat what works for you, eating some herbs and spices added to a meal would be considered dirty carnivore and not big deal if they work for you. I use herbs and spices all the time as i enjoy them and have no digestive issues using them. Again, do what works for you, carnivore is not for everyone. Since you are new to this, and if you don't have any health issues and enjoy cruciferous vegetables, I would recommend starting out Keto. That's what I did 7 years ago. Do forget Take your Electrolytes!

@@Cidfloyd thank you for the advice! Appreciate it

Many carnivores do not use any type of spice - I always leveraged salt, garlic powder, and pepper (and also ranch!) throughout my weight loss journey - now in maintenance I am more liberal with spices - it is more about staying away from anything that causes an inflammatory response for me.

Hey Y’all - I don’t know if there is anything MORE southern than pot roast supper on Sunday after church. Prove me wrong. I will wait. Today we are making a twist on the classic pot roast - and I cannot stress how easy, simple, and delicious it is. Actually I can - it is SIMPLE - like falling off a log simple. The flavor payoff for the work put in is a sizable ROI. Carnivore - eat it by itself and enjoy it! Warning - I don’t stress the brown gravy and ranch seasoning - if you are super strict this won’t work for you! Keto - add caulimash, and a side of skillet garlic green beans for a full Sunday meal. Whole Foods - again the seasonings aren’t the cleanest - but throw in some carrots, potatoes and onions and let them cook along with the roast. I used a 3lb chuck eye roast and didn’t even sear it beforehand - I did season it though before throwing it in the crock pot. Recipe below: 3lb Chuck Roast Avocado Oil Spray 8T of Butter (I use half a stick of the Costco double stick butter) 3T minced dried onions Garlic cloves (I used 9 - let your heart lead you!) Pepperoncini (I used 6 - use more or less for heat) 2T Pepperoncini juice (adjust for heat) McCormick Brown Gravy packet Hidden Valley Buttermilk Restaurant style packet 1/4C to 1/2C of chicken or beef broth 1. Spray your crock pot with Avocado Oil spray - this prevents baked on mess! 2. Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper and toss it in the crock pot - no searing needed! 3. Slice up the butter and lay it across the top of the roast. 4. Sprinkle across the dried onions. 5. 9 cloves of garlic tossed in around the roast. 6. Sprinkle your packet of Brown Gravy Mix and then your Ranch packet mix across the top. 7. Pour about 1/4 to 1/2C of broth (chicken was used but beef would be even better!) 8. Cover and cook low 12 hours, I did 5hr on high, then on low for another 4 until dinner There is something comforting and relaxing knowing your dinner will be waiting for you after church - cleanup is a breeze and allows you to get to your Sunday afternoon nap even quicker!
