Hi, can you help me with an Unox oven model XV513G? The oven starts fine, but if I turn the temperature knob, it goes into lock mode, the red light turns on, and I have to reset it using the gas valve button. Thanks.

It would have been blowing bubbles of air in the absence of oil to move. No way they didn’t know immediately. 🪦 a moment of silence 😂

@restaurantrepairs no, the valves were closed. It won't build pressure with just air in the system as well so low amp draw and not trip overload

It seems like you just diagnosed that pump on this trip. My question is did you already have an idea that you would need a pump motor assembly before and ordered it or did you have one on the shelf and brought it with you just in case? Great video!

@RyanNash-xj8ef this was a return trip. Originally called out for it not running. And found a tripped overload. I reset and it would trip immediately. Tested coil voltage relay and wasn't present, yet contacts were stuck closed. I checked pump for obstruction and it didn't have anything in it

We had a Hibachi place with 30 of those grills. They would wait till they had 10 thermostats down before they called us. Those were some decent check payments. They finally decided it would be cheaper to run gas lines to each station.

Nice job buddy, had same thing yesterday with a Hardwired oven. The "Electrician" condemned the oven, New oven delivered and doing the same. Checked the cable to find the switch burned out & the live / earth wires melted together.

@Hudson12339my local TXRH is pretty clean besides underneath the roll in proofer. Red Lobster is bad. Longhorn is good. The difference is terrible management. The Olive Garden here is pretty spotless because the manager cares.

@@CommercialKitchenChronicles I see it all the time. I’ve done it plenty of times. I get the reason for not doing it but honestly 90% of the starting components in r290 stuff is no different then starting components on non 290 stuff. Same brand and style capacitors and relay/overload etc
