So this gentleman playing is the infamous Jimmy Wyble ?
@kevinthebeagle Жыл бұрын
Yes it is. Jimmy played at this tea house weekly for awhile; the unaware clanged their dishes and missed out. Wonderful guy and wonderful musician.

check Hal Leonard. Sid published his Bill Evans arrangements with them, perhaps also the Monk tunes.

He was my great uncle, he taught me "never be embarrassed of what comes out of your amplifier" when I was 13. I really took that lesson to heart. He was a great guy.

Hey Tod! I rember you from when you visited Sweden. You know my brother and I knew you at that time. I have suggestion, Listen to Carlos Santana’s solo on boz scaggs album Middle Man ! Track #4 You Can Have Me Anytime This is one of the best guitar solos I ever listened to! Paul
@kevinthebeagle2 жыл бұрын
Hi Paul - that is a great song and Santana's solo is good; at first there was a Graydon solo on the song but the producer called in the 'rock star' and used it instead. i would like to hear the JG version, but that won't happen :)
