Thank you for watching. Ice helps reducing the temperature and prevents the oil from getting hot. It also helps oil emulsify. I hope that helps.

I want to make some of this, but the description references both "olive oil" and "neutral oil", which I think means something besides olive oil. Thanks.

Hi @NilsFerry, thank you for pointing out. I tried this recipe with both the olive oil and neutral oil I used was peanut oil. I would say that neutral oil gives the purest taste and aroma of the herbs. Thank you! 😊
