It definitely depends on how tall you are! Remy Metailler and Jackson Goldstone typically use no mod but hyper view and they are able to get plenty of bike in because their shorter

Yeah that's a good point. Remy uses hyperview which has been greatly improved with more recent firmwares (and on the GoPro 13) too.

I rode there yesterday too. Rode most of those trails much more slowly than you! I also tried Holy Trail 2 and it didn't look like anyone had ridden it in a long time.

@@MTBMcPhee Yeah the one that you don't have to hop over the rocks at the start. It looked like nobody had ridden it in ages. I cleared the leaves off a few key areas and heaps of sticks and branches. There was a big branch I couldn't move and the trail partly blocked in one place from what looked like a big vine that had fallen and draped across it. Looks like it would be lots of fun when in good shape.

I find the stock fork and shock highly progressive and set up right it doesn’t bottom out hard just feels quite firm on the drops. What it gives back in feel and control makes it one of the most fun MTBs for downhill, jump lines and flow trails.

@@smithysendy I ride XL with my regular bike so it just feels normal to me. Mullet bikes feel smaller to me anyway so I’d be even more likely to size up on a mullet than with a full 29
