I'm from Norway and I watched this show as a kid and never knew there were any Captain Power toys. I just learned recently that those existed. So the show definitely worked fine without the toy line.

I never even saw the toys except in the occasional commercial but back in the day, I watched every episode of the show and really enjoyed it. I thought the show was ground breaking at the time and not just because of the toy integration. I find the accusation that you need the toys to enjoy the show to be extremely disingenuous. I'm guess this is why this great idea was never repeated. A real shame that organizations that are supposed to protect the consumer are instead imposing these harmful limitations upon the market.

I hated the children activist from the 80s and 90s they killed our favorite cartoons and our favorite action figures back in the 80s and 90s... Now we grown up now we are buying the figures like Boba fett rocket launcher so on and so on
