Yeah i have a 2024 bronco outerband. The same issue. Back door storage pocket is welded on to door. Ford should think little better on this. They are trying to save couple of metal screws on a $50K+ vehicle?

Why is the dynamic and static load so low, compared to other racks? 600 pounds is the most or it could hold a little more?
@JcrOffroadАй бұрын
The current load limits are set by the factory bedside limitations, not necessarily the rack. Anything over our recommended weights would be at the users discretion.

why did JCR stop producing the JT Overland Bed Rack? I got the overland rank during the summer and so far no issues. After watching this video I like how things are mounted together unlike the overland rack. seems more sturdy.
@JcrOffroadАй бұрын
We previously offered two different style bed racks and decided to merge the two designs as well as add some updates for better useability.

Just thought I'd mention it. Around 5:09 or so in the video. Bracket #4. Notice how one end is cut at a 45 deg angle. That angle goes toward the rear of the vehicle. He is installing this one correctly but just saying I got these on the wrong sides when I put mine on. Not the end of the world, the holes just didn't lineup. I just thought maybe it would safe someone else some time. The sliders are awesome though! If you're considering these, don't hesitate. I couldn't be happier with mine. I have 3 Jeeps. This was my first purchase from JCR. In 35 yrs of building cars / Jeeps they are the only company to ever call me after they had received the order, just to say thanks. Small gestures can sometimes say a lot! I will be ordering from them again. Thanks again.

I've seen many accessories and their videos. I'm just surprised about the splicing of wires and cutting off of factory connectors. So many lesser quality or "made in China" accessories come with factory connectors to make everything plug and Play. I do understand it would add to the cost what I would rather pay that cost and cuts and splice a brand new or new-ish vehicle. Heck! I don't miss the days of having to splice everything electronic into your vehicle. Now, I give it a lot of thought on the purchase of an accessory that is not plug and Play. If I have two options, unless the price difference is excessive, I'm always going with the plug and play option.

I just put this on my jeep, it seems beefy. We did have an issue with the rear part of the skid plate clearing the factory location control arm bracket as well as the third bolt on the passenger frame rail not lining up very well. It sits down lower than the other two and seemed slightly off center. We ended up breaking out the grinder/sawzall to clear the control arm mount. I still need to fab up a bracket to utilize the factory T-case skid until I decide to get the fancy belly skid.

@ShireIO4 ай бұрын
Probably worth mentioning that on the XJ, the bumper blocks you from installing the large yellow zinc bolt directly from below - you have to drop the pin down onto it and then fight to get at the bolt to tighten it. Also, with my carrier, the pin was out of spec by a couple thousandths and would not insert into the hole at all, let alone as smoothly as shown here. I had to get it machined down to get a proper fit.
