I remember 1st seeing them when they were called Sector 9. Scoreboard company in Cali had the name 1st. Hence, Sound Tribe Sector 9.😏☮️💟⚡️🥀🐢🕉️. Fans brought crystals and put them on the front of the stage. Some were big, some small, all different colors ❤. So, STS9 collected all of them and put the pile in front of them. It just kept growing. Lights bouncing off a four foot pile of crystals. Epic. Hardest thing for me was the big change but I love the music and have since started. Particle was another epic band, never found out whatever happened to them. But they jam. STS9 the best live band and have for a while. It’s the Love,Love,Love. Your vibe attracts your tribe.

Masterclass in covering a song. Truly made it his own and played into his strengths while honoring the meaning of the legendary Leon Russell song.

Was at this one. Thanks for capturing it and sharing it. Was a great night to revisit, i remember really starting to feel euphoric late in the first set and my spirit really took off into flight during that incredible March second set opener and the rest of the show. Fantastic sound quality on this show and love to see the video captured by Cameron Britland, I worked with him and his brother at Ukrops wayyyy back in the day!

Saw these guys at the first ACL fest in Austin back in 2001(maybe 2002). Things were definitely weird that night. Great show.

I wish he didn't get hate for this set. Years and many many sets later, this is still the best Griz set I've ever been to. you felt his love and hard work with every note played. Big ups to the legend for trying something new!!

I was reminiscing on this show today. So grateful to see it posted! My stash got confiscated at the door by a girl I’m still not entirely convinced was any kind of security. I was let in and grabbed drinks, made my way to my seat and was definitely into it. After around wiki or shock I need to hit the head. As I approached the isle I met a gentleman doing keys out of a rather large bag…I assumed it was toot and asked what it would take to partake in one. He just looked at me and said it’s molly…without speaking I reached in my pocket and pulled out some bills maybe like 30 or so bucks and he traded me. After a couple key bumps I handed it back. From what I recall it was a great show!

Not the same without albert. They used to go so crazy. Been with these guys since the beginning. Played a few gigs with brock as The brock butler quartet....n the brock butler quintet. Brock my homie. Proud of him. So underrated.

When did you see them last ? I saw them in Charleston right before new years my first show. I thought the drummer now was fantastic and he’s played with some very notable artists

Spent my day today making shirts for 2024 shows. Can’t wait! I was re-baptized last summer as I kind of got bored and quit going to Panic shows after 2014. They have redeemed themselves completely! I’ve never heard JB sound so good! Saw them for the first time in 1989.
