This band! Man! After 20+ yrs, still grabs me! Music is a healing master! So grateful! This show, the first few songs specifically, gut me, in a good way, then feelings of overwhelming relief and joy! Lol! Grief sucks, blows, shakes the core, the world, etc, sucks! Life doesn’t stop for it. I randomly played this show when looking for something, “don’t know how to get these feelings of whatever it is out of me or processed, yet again”. Like that scene from “Green Mile” when Michael Clarke Duncan opens his mouth and all the worldly toxic dis-ease releases from his mouth when he opens it and disperses into the atmosphere. I was feeling all of the feels overwhelmingly, questioning everything, sadness, concern for others close to me grieving, worry for the young people of this world, anger, and mostly seeking space to connect and remember the 2 incredible young humans close to me that passed away very unexpectedly in 2021. They both made my world a better place. Sources of pure joy, love, and laughter. Lighting up rooms they entered, people gravitated toward them, everyone was welcome in their space, acknowledged, and “seen”. 4/9/2021 and 11/17/2021. I found/find that in-between space of connection in this music. Ahhhh so good! Ty!!! I’m thinking Autumn and Caden find me in this music and we play, dance, connect 😍🫶🏽🙏🏾 💫🌈 🦄 💞. Not sure why I’m writing this here, lol! Part of the process still being or processed……❤

Stellar rhythm section. 3.5 hours and homie didn't miss a single backbeat. And their bassist is incredible.

She’s the shit. I liked Murph but she really took the consistency up a new notch when she hopped in.

Consistently insane how they keep (and increase) their energy over extremely long sets. Murph a legend but ever since alana joined they've also been consistently increasing their energy every year. absolutely insane love ya tribe

I remember 1st seeing them when they were called Sector 9. Scoreboard company in Cali had the name 1st. Hence, Sound Tribe Sector 9.😏☮️💟⚡️🥀🐢🕉️. Fans brought crystals and put them on the front of the stage. Some were big, some small, all different colors ❤. So, STS9 collected all of them and put the pile in front of them. It just kept growing. Lights bouncing off a four foot pile of crystals. Epic. Hardest thing for me was the big change but I love the music and have since started. Particle was another epic band, never found out whatever happened to them. But they jam. STS9 the best live band and have for a while. It’s the Love,Love,Love. Your vibe attracts your tribe.

Wow! It’s been too many years since I’ve seen tribe. I’m only a few songs in so far and gorgeous! Was kind of scared I wouldn’t know any of the songs but I feel like I just slid right back into one of my favorite spaces. Ahhhh! Ty!! 🙏🏾

3 nights at Mishuaka in 2 weeks! Cannot wait! I so wanted to fly out for the Santa Cruz shows a few weeks ago but was unable to make it happen. Red Rocks was great this year as well. I only went to Levitts Pavilion last summer and this summer Red Rocks but couldn’t do Levitts. I’ll make up for missing Levitts and Santa Cruz at the Mish coming up. The Mish is where STS9 began for me in 2004 so it’ll be good to see them there again 18 years later. Having responsibilities in my old age kinda sucks but I see what I can. I

I've seen a lot of live footage from various locations/videos, and this is by far the best version of Dust Settles I've seen. Change my mind! (no, really, if you have a better live version in your opinion, hook a brutha up! Would love to watch and compare!) 58:10

I keep coming back to this band. But I do wonder how they manage the female vocals, and other voice parts in some of their songs where it seems evident the people we're watching aren't producing them? Thanks in advance, and let me say I learn a great deal from these KZbin concert comments sections, so thank you so much, knowledgeable contributors!
@gregoryberger46712 жыл бұрын
A lot of the female vocals are an artist named Audio Angel. She did all the vocals on their Artifact album and even performed live with them several times in 2004/05.
