$2000 is not possible as a regular driver in Philly unless you are doing XL or premiere I drive 7 days a week 12 hours a day only can clear $1000 maybe $1200-$1500 if the tips are good which most people don’t even tip.

These stories and these stories alone are what truly give me hope to live the life I want, I’ve worked a lot of jobs, lots of side hustles, I’ve learned a lot about myself in doing so but Uber offers a seem less and responsive user experience that makes 2k in a week very doable. $2k is not the problem. The problem is you need 84 hours to make $2k. If you take out $350 for gas and divide $1650 by 84 hours you get $19.64 per hour. That is before all other expenses like tires, headlights replacement, monthly maintenance, repairs cost, etc…At best Uber is a $15 per hour job. At least we have to be honest. The only reason I still do it is because of flexibility. By the way I make $2k routinely here in Atlanta but it comes with mental and physical pain and suffering.

This is great content, just remember different states and different cities have different income levels, that will make a difference on the persons earnings. For example Tampa FL is paying around $20 an hour.

To be honest, " making" is a vague word. Gross earnings can convert to 70 or 50% of the "making" number. Just to be fair to newbies, wives counting on the unemployed husband that is borrowing her car to drive and all those situations where people get hurt by hyperbole.

Mental health and physical exhaustion. Uber is a good gig. It's easy to stay .motivated when everything is going great but when things are slow it's hard not to get frustrated.

He is right people and it's not rocket science. Uber calls are like waves of the sea just like waves go up and they go down and if you are only out there for 1 hour or two or three you may be driving during a Down time do you have to work long enough so you catch the up waves
