It going to be interesting to see how long I can keep the connection with step 1. My horse is a Haflinger and keeping a connection with him is a real challenge. This video will defiantly help.

This is amazing, I lOVE It! Thank you so much for this! I've had my (first) horse now for two years and have made a pretty steep learning curve since, as I discovered I knew practicaly nothing, well, it felt like that at least. He's a very troubled horse, he spooks very easily and he can be very pushy, he used to bite (as in BIG time) and "defend" himself and I am struggling to overcome my fear as he used to chase me and I also broke my arm last year due to an actually quite stupid fall, it wasn't even during a freaked out situation. But, since then "we" have already improved so much with the help of a very good trainer, but I keep believing it could be even more friendly for/to him. I dream of going to the beach with him some day, but fot now it's not even safe to take him too far out. More because I don't know how to keep my cool, getting there slowly. But, from you video I already got a lot, we'll need a lot of step one and two, which I started this afternoon. The things is though that he doesn't really respond to a jiggle or a fidgeting with a whip, so I' trying to find a way to get his attention time and again. I noted he's actually so sensitive that I need to improve my skills to SEE his reaction, so I'll keep rewinding this and following. Thanks again, best regards from deep south of France🐴

Yeah.... cool story bro. I understood about 4.5% of it, but that's better than 4%. The way you type indicates that you're still 10 or 11.

This is the most relaxing thing to do. I loved trail riding. I miss it so much. I wish i still could go riding. Even to just be around horses again. I grew up on a farm. When my mom died 5 years ago all the horses were rehomed and we sold the farm. I miss spending time grooming the horses. It was so relaxing to me. Just talking to them wile i was brushing them. So peaceful. 😊❤

Why do we make them do this? Can’t they just be in a field?
@user-dq4os8wl6o
@user-dq4os8wl6o 3 ай бұрын
If the horse is agitated, they won’t do these moves. They choose to do them as they learn from their riders and it makes the horses feel proud of their work and new skills. If a horse doesn’t want to take part, they will not be doing it haha.
