The Airmaster web site states in the FAQs that an external belt-driven alternator can be used with the Airmaster prop with a special accessory available from Airmaster. When I inquired of Airmaster about this accessory, I got no response. I am buying my engine through RANS and when they inquired of Airmaster, they were told this device doesn’t exist. Why has the web site not been updated if you aren’t providing the appropriate parts to allow use of an external belt-drive alternator?

Is the reversable prop still capable of feathering? The beta position replaces the feather position on the controller. So it appears as if it's not.

The electric prop has been around for some time. Curtiss built an electric prop that was installed on aircraft like the B29 for use in arctic conditions. Its a pretty proven technology. The reversing function will allow people who have aircraft like a cub derivative on floats, the ability to back up on the water, which is awesome.

Great prop! Did you notice any difference in aircraft speed, climb and cruise between the two and three bladed?
