@@AgriCo42069 you don’t notice it as much when driving as you are in the car, didn’t get any videos of it driving by to be honest but I’m sure it sounded abit louder outside to. It is more noticeable in the video, on idle mainly due to lower background noise.

I’m wanting to try this muffler as the drone in my integra is getting unbearable. Stock header to oem cat to 3” straight back with a turn down muffler. It’s not even that loud but the drone is killing me at 2.5-3.5k rpm.

No mate, it’s not that loud. You can cruise along quite nicely on the motorway and around town and it doesn’t drone. I mean without music on you can hear it but it’s not loud. If you watch my other short video of the green jazz I have. That’s loud. That’s horrendous inside the car when it’s on power. The civic with a res delete isn’t like that.

Update. The crank pulley is a 2 piece pulley with a rubber flanged collar inbetween the two. All bonded together. The rubber is to remove slight engine movement transferring through the pulley. Over time it perishes, the inner lip of mine wore away and the outter pulley ring debonds and it will slide in towards the block slightly. I changed, crank pulley, crank bolt, crank case oil seal (timing chain side, behind crank pulley) aux belt and idler pulley. All genuine honda parts. Issue sorted now.

So for anybody who has this issue, I believe it’s the plastic collar behind the crank pulley wears and the pulley has a inner ring. This wears as well and causes the crank pulley to shift slightly and it rubs the side of the block slightly. There is a raised section on the back side of the engine it catches. So I think crank pulley, crank bolt and new seal is pretty much the fix. That’s what I’m going for so I’ll update when done.

This sounds like the stock exhaust on an Elantra Sport/N Line with the 1.6t. I used to have one, 2017 with a manual. My wife has a 2021 Civic 1.5t, and I wanted to replicate the sound of my Elantra Sport with her car. She doesn’t want it loud, but I want just a little bit of tone to match the tailpipe and diffuser kit I am getting for it.

Sorry I have only just seen this. So it was just the middle resonator removed. It still has the twin silencers in the back box and the catalytic converter in.

Hi, it was the first time I played on the test day. So obviously found out it was AAC after this. Spent ages marshalling it in the end. When I played it was one of my favourite sites to play. By the end of the day marshalling my knees were shot.

Hi sorry I didn’t see this till now. Yeah it did burble a bit. It didn’t properly pop as it still had a catalytic converter in it which calmed a lot of that down.

about a hour, I'm guessing around $100. I had my mufflers and resonators taken off for around 250. If you want sound clips, I have some on my channel.

Yeah I seem to remember Germany or parts of Germany is very strict. Basically no modifications from factory specifications, is that right?

@@ThatGreenGD1 you are allowed to modify it if the part that you are modifying has a so called ABE-number or the E-number and there are not alot of parts out there so your hands are basically tied

I’m in the UK and it’s not up for MOT yet but yeah it won’t cause any emissions issues. The resonator removes certain sound frequencies from the exhaust system so yeah it makes it a bit louder but the catalytic converter is the bit that does all the emissions reduction.

Hello buddy. I hope you like it. I still like mine like this. It’s definitely a nice stepping stone before you either go the whole hog and get a custom exhaust/after market or decide to put it back to standard. I kept the resonator as well so if I wanted I could always have it put back in. Enjoy . Thank you for the comment

No idea really, I’ve not got video of it on the move. I’m sure it sounds okay. You can’t really hear it in the car as this still has a standard centre pipe so has all the silencers still in.

hows it holding up. i got a muffler delete a long time ago and it was annyoing but now i my civic is on a ktuner and short ram intake. I have 1.5t CVT i dont want drone and i want to remove ONLY resonator. thanks in advance for any insight

It’s fine. It isn’t going to break, put it that way. I personally would like it abit louder but it’s alright. It’s how it should have been from the factory I think

No. No drone. There is enough to hear you have the resonator removed but if you are driving and have your music on, you almost forget it’s done until you put your foot down and even then it’s not loud. It’s how I think the exhaust should have sounded from factory

No it doesn’t cause a CEL. This is the resonator, not the catalytic converter

Me and a friend have one of these . I've had mine around 1 year now and have plastic cvd joints. My friends was bought 1 month ago and come with metal cvd joints. I've used 2s battery in mine and yes its faster but I don't find any gains from it. You want low speed control with these and the standard battery does perfect

To be fair, low speed modulation is very difficult in these. However with the 2S you have more wheel speed. So when the standard one struggles this has the power to push on. Bare in mind I have a better ESC in mine as well. They are great trucks though for what they are. The V3 our the box is as good as my upgraded one V2. Not as much wheel speed but just as capable. Element then brought out a 1/24. It’s the FTX v3 but with an element name and different body.
