High grade is the best for my wallet, master grade is the limit for my economy balance

I don’t have a ton of experience but I will say the gundam brand nippers are so bad, I’ve had the blades visibly wear from just cutting the runners. I have a spare pair from a metal earth kit that came in a tool pack, and it does the job much better.

I got a few HG and had fun building them, honestly this popped in my recommendation and im glad it did! Thx for the overview

My friend got me into the kits. As someone who super casual, but enjoys the process, HG is mostly what's on my bookshelf. I have a few RGs, but the ones I've built are a bit annoying since they always seem to fall apart if I look at them wrong.

I got into Gunpla in 2023, I mostly put together High Grade kits, I like the low price and the accuracy to how they look in the anime. I also use them for Gamma Wolves, and I'm about to do my first kitbash, using an orange Zaku II (the kit says it was for Garma Zabi, but I suspect it spent the war in a hangar somewhere in side 3, I just wanted something not red and not green) and parts of an ADF-01 Falken from Ace Combat 7. I put together one Master Grade, the Zeta Gundam Ver. Ka, because I think that the Zeta Gundam normally looks ugly as sin, but the tweaked proportions just makes it work. I've also put together a couple Real Grades, a Zeong that I like a lot, and some Gundam Seed sequel thing a friend got me, which I did not like- the pre-made internal frame made it much less fun to put together. More recently, I've been putting together a lot of Kotobukiya kits, I put together their Tsugumori kit, a megami device kit, a Megalomaria kit, an ADF-01 Falken, and most recently I got a Frame Arms Girl kit. Overall, I like it a lot more than Warhammer kits, I'm not really into painting, and now I'm getting stuff with my own money instead of my dad's.

tbh my two favorite grades is HG since they’re always saving space and they’re just a nice little touch to my room and RG since my top 2 are in RG. Plus they’re really solid and they’re the perfect size for me.

Right so mg is harder to put together than real grade and high grade because they require more effort and require more experience since the parts are smaller. Thanks man.

For me is Master Grade perfect

I tried the godhand nippers, overall good but much too overhyped. You’ll still end up cleaning the part afterward with an exacto knife or sanding it down. So a $20-$35 nipper will be good enough for most.

my personal favorite gunpla kits are 1: Perfect Grade 2: Master Grade Extreme 3: Master Grade Ver Ka 4: Real Grades Specifically Iike ones from UC and CE era models kits the most, and the only model kits outside from the mobile suit of these two universes that I liked are the 00 Gundam(just the main 00 Gundam variants), and the Wing Gundam EW kits.

How long you let it dry?

I’m relatively new to gunpla but I think my favorite kits right now would have to be master grade.
