I also use magazines and catalogs for pictures in some thrifted frames. I found a great one in the Balsam Hill fall catalog. It had a double set of black doors, brick steps and beautiful fall garlands and planters. It looks great above my console table in the dining room

I frame advertising and magazine photos all the time. As long as your not selling them, you can photocopy them onto a paper with more tooth to give it a more real painting effect. I also use the waterlogue app to make them seem as if they are watercolor paintings.

4:50 surely u have a temperature knob on youer boiler to dictate the domestic water temperature , im in UK so i dont know about USA, but our boiler does heatign and domestic water and can set the performance output for both

How long did the appliance paint stay looking beautiful for you?

Did it myself. Be advised, the composite material of the panel board from Home Depot is HDFB (high density fibre board) from eucalyptus fibres. It works well, but can be sensitive to water, so in order to mitigate against it getting mushy if wet, you might consider finishing the outside with several coats of high gloss clearcoat (like automotive finish), and still be wary of heavy water spills next to the tub. As for us, we're retired seniors with no kids at home... but for those with splashy little ones playing in the tub, this panel material approach might not last too long. But it is VERY economical and looks great.

Brava to you for thrifting! I used to shop at Goodwill, too, until a couple of years ago when I discovered the Big Cheeses at GW make somewhere between $500 thousand and 1 million dollars per year (depending on what internet search you do). I also found out that employees with disabilities are often paid less than minimum wage (as low as 22 cents per hour), whistleblowers have been fired, and safety issues have led to tragedy. Now my fave thrift store is The Humane Society Thrift Store, the fave of all our town which voted it the Best Thrift Store - even against GW! We also have thrift stores for hospice, Teen Challenge, and other local charities. I try to be even more ETHICAL about where my little money goes.

Could you paint my kitchen cabinets and counter top please

You should ONLY use WATER BASED paint on kitchen/bathroom countertops--ALL the other types are TOXIC.....Seal with a clear FOOD SAFE top coat (even in the bathroom, think "toothbrushes, etc".....This way you have LOW/NO VOC's & these water based paints are rated for mildew resistance & heat to a couple hundred degrees or so....Also these WATER BASED options for paint can be washed simply with soap & water.....remember, it's the KITCHEN....All the brands/types used above are NOT meant to use in kitchens so there's that....

We used black hair dye in the car , perfect , We didnt spray it we sponged it on (with gloves) one coat ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,done, It wasnt even a permanent hair dye just a cheap one, just to see ,and when it dried it didn't come off on the bottom of my jeans either , For a big room maybe 4 bottles

Thanks for the video. I'm getting ready to order paint for my kitchen counters and cabinets (appliance), bathroom shower and tub surround (marine), and mud room floor (floor ???). There is a specific paint for floors but, I'm going over linoleum not ceramic tile. I would like your opinion on which paint would be most durable for the mud room floor. I've seen they now have a farm and implement paint as well. I'm sure it would hold up on the metal faucet assembly but not sure about covering vinyl ???
