I love this brass bowl! You've got a lot of beautiful things and the idea with the frame cover is amazing

The item you asked about is called a clay pot (used for cooking)--but, only the lid. The bottom of the pot is shellacked on the inside. You would not use that part for cooking.

I was wondering about that, the top was pure clay and the bottom just didn't seem like you can put into the oven, it seemed shiny like a crockpot on the inside. Thank you for watching!

@@OurClassicHome I have a friend who lives in Ocala. Do you live near there?

@ourclassichome check the bottom of a clay roasting pan and see if it says ovenproof, in which case you can definitely cook in it. The only thing with using them is to put them in when you start to preheat your oven. Never put a clay pot into a hot oven as it may crack because of the shock. Happy thrifting.

The antlers are not an award as evidenced by the hair covered scull of the deer or other horned animal. They were taxidermied by a company that that makes animal "trophies". This deer was probably taken during deer season.

Thanks for letting me know I was wondering about that.
