Why ist Louis not enough for Lestat? I cannot unterstand why he holds on to Antoinette, when getting Louis back, after hurting him so much. This drives me crazy.

@@myra99 I saw someone say that if lestat thought that louis would fully accept and take lestat as he truly is, then he would leave antoinette in a heartbeat. But he is scared that louis will never fully accept him and as such he seeks company elsewhere as a sort of backup plan. Especially during the time when louis distanced himself, lestat was very lonely. It’s not really an excuse, but somewhat of an explanation

The only things I know about this show are still from your last edit, and YET!!! as a sleeping at last girlie I cannot /not/ watch a sal edit. halfway thru this I teared up and at the end I was straight up crying,,, the matches of dialogue to lyrics.... the tempo of movement matching between song and visuals, the colors changing between the parts of the song!! when I realized the lyrics were from /both/ of their povs.... bro.... I'm gonna have to watch this show just so I can come back to this edit and be devastated completely when I know the context of everything. absolutely incredible editing

I also want to say 'Venus' is a great Michael-about-Alex song, obviously more of the straightforward love song nature but for the aliens of it all. I've used Mercury (Quentin Coldwater - Mercury) and Earth (Flint: Odysseus) previously, you really cannot go wrong with Sleeping At Last. Great taste in music btw.

Flint is in agony when he looks at Miranda's body in the plain wooden box. His face twitches and contorts. His grief is palpable. Were there justice in the world , Toby Stephens would have a room full of acting award statues for his portrayal of McGraw/Flint in this series. What the acting profession (shame on it) failed to do, the viewing public stepped in to do. I have read a great deal about the show and have never - not once - read ANY criticism of Toby's magnificent portrayal of McGraw/Flint. We love you, Toby.

oh my god. This song is totally relatable to them! I'm feeling so emotionally involved in their story lately that reading this song's lyrics almost made me cry. I didn't know it, it's absolutely beautiful. And your vid...the montage, the scenes, the colours...everything was so well done and emotional! You definitely gave justice to their relationship, one of the best one ever written for tv in my opinion. Thank you so much for sharing this! Now I'll go crying in a corner listening to this song😭😭
