Why ist Louis not enough for Lestat? I cannot unterstand why he holds on to Antoinette, when getting Louis back, after hurting him so much. This drives me crazy.

@@myra99 I saw someone say that if lestat thought that louis would fully accept and take lestat as he truly is, then he would leave antoinette in a heartbeat. But he is scared that louis will never fully accept him and as such he seeks company elsewhere as a sort of backup plan. Especially during the time when louis distanced himself, lestat was very lonely. It’s not really an excuse, but somewhat of an explanation
