Watching this brought tears to my eyes of how touching this was too me and the sentiment behind it all and how Ken made an impact on me. I have known ken since middle school and he was my older sister's vocal coach and knew my family. He has left an imprint in my life forever!

Will there be a standalone post of Forever Gold, or perhaps an MP3 (or other file type) download of Forever Gold?

This is a beautiful tribute! Many times I feel, we, as choir directors, teach in our own little "bubble". We just do the work that we know our students deserve and need from us in our choir rooms and that's it. This desire to make the kids better (in every way) is what drives us to do our best everyday. I cannot believe how well this video captures what it is REALLY like to be in choir and what choir truly is all about. The moments, the stories, the trips, the music repertoire, and your connection with your students is so relatable and so admirable. Thank you so much for sharing this tribute to your amazing legacy! It is truly inspiring! Congratulations on your well deserved retirement! 36 years is such an accomplishment! I'm at year 21 now ....so I've got a few more years to hopefully get to your level of excellence! - Michael Suffolk, Director of Vocal Activities, Birmingham Community Charter High School

Omgosh I remember singing this...not sure which year (graduated 1993) ...and still remember it 100%. We sang it as a set with another African song in our concert...shoot what was the other one?
