The first time I heard Collide I thought this was for Tom and I hoped to hear some of his Detroit techno patches with it. Looking forward to!

I try to categorise the sound of the Delia. It somewhat reminds me a bit of a mix of Waldorf M/Microwave and DSI OB-6/Prophet 6. So it’s sounds really upfront. I think I have to try one myself.

I can easily substitute the Polybrute for the Moog Muse, sounds wise the Moog takes it for me, Collider4 And Algo are both neat in Eurorack, anyone pushing the TE Is just on a payroll for promo

When people say, “x” can run spin chip fx, I wonder how to actually get the algorithms from those modules like fx aid and timiszoara. It’s not like the manufacturers just make them freely available to download no?
@SouthpawShorts10 күн бұрын
I don't know if you can grab the specific FX from those modules but there are hundreds and hundreds of FV-1 algorithms available freely online. People are already starting to collate some over on the Expert Sleepers Discord

Just cruising by to say how delightful the staff at Signal is. Always on top of their game and extremely patient. They've helped me get some hard to find items imported over to the States in record time and in the rare instance I had any issues with modules, they went out of their way to make sure I was ok. Luke especially. Happy New Year Signal!!!!!

Tom (& Bries) are the two YT music tech personalities who are always jamming my favorite modules 100% of the time, never fails 🎊 🎉
@Timothy_Dalton338 күн бұрын
Bries? Has he ever made a sound that resembles actual music? Modern music consumption is depressing, I mean, Bries making weird noises claiming it sounds like wind, using about €30,000 of equipment to do it, wtf?
@unfamiliarenvironments8 күн бұрын
@ these are the worst kind of comments - music is about fun and escapism, not gate keeping or chittin on other people to boost yourself up. Boo to bad vibe modulators. Bries sound design is super inspiring and interesting, love me some Bries. Hope you can learn to love yourself, maybe then you can join the party we’re all havin out here, enjoying ourselves, doin what we feel
@Timothy_Dalton338 күн бұрын
@@unfamiliarenvironments No problem, enjoy. If people want to put themselves in the public domain with the end game of hoping to monetise their stuff and gain a profile/ reputation, then they have to accept both sides of the coin. I think what he does sounds like a hobbiest with zero knowledge plugging random cables into random inputs and just twisting knobs and hoping for the best. If that's your vibe, you're up to your balls with choices on synthluencer land.

Curious what clock did you have driving the whole set up? Was pulsar following midi clock from the other device?
@jasonbrunton960113 күн бұрын
Yes, it was getting MIDI clock, I think it was from the Hapax but any MIDI clock source would do
@devinwells939913 күн бұрын
@ awesome thanks dude! Have a pulsar on the way in the mail now…so stoked
@quantum_ocean14 күн бұрын
Why is the clock divider show “percent” of project time? Wouldn’t music time make more sense like 1/2 1/4 2/1 etc
@SoundsMick2 сағат бұрын
I think because it’s so granular a percentage is more readable, tho it would be cool to show a percentage alongside whole divisions when you scroll to them
@mark35mi15 күн бұрын

No midi makes it an easy pass. Neat otherwise.
@SoundsMick14 күн бұрын
There’s some pretty inexpensive midi to cv converters out there such as the CV.OCD or if you have a DC coupled audio interface you could use Ableton CV tools or the Bitwig alternative.

What made you choose this over the Erica synth syntrx II ?
@SoundsMick22 күн бұрын
I do also have a Syntrx 2, they're quite different especially in the oscillator structure and it's approach to utility function. I would say the Cric is much more generous in its functions and the oscillators take it into wildly different sonic territory.
@audiosuy21 күн бұрын
@@SoundsMick bro, nothing on this video sounds "wildly" ... you barely can listen to the synth´s character
@SoundsMick21 күн бұрын
@ there’s other videos that show the synth in a more raw state upcoming, there’s a good livestream here actually: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXnYhqWIp8ZmhbM. My video was an exploration / commentary of my time using it as part of a compositional setup vs a more nuts and bolts explainer. I probably could have just done a couple filter sweeps tho 😂
