I think what he does sounds like a hobbiest with zero knowledge plugging random cables into random inputs and just twisting knobs and hoping for the best. I think because it’s so granular a percentage is more readable, tho it would be cool to show a percentage alongside whole divisions when you scroll to them

There’s some pretty inexpensive midi to cv converters out there such as the CV.OCD or if you have a DC coupled audio interface you could use Ableton CV tools or the Bitwig alternative.

I do also have a Syntrx 2, they're quite different especially in the oscillator structure and it's approach to utility function. I would say the Cric is much more generous in its functions and the oscillators take it into wildly different sonic territory.

My video was an exploration / commentary of my time using it as part of a compositional setup vs a more nuts and bolts explainer. I probably could have just done a couple filter sweeps tho 😂
