I believe, recently Victorinox made some adjustments to the thickness of cutting edge of the knife to prevent this problem.

Дизайн же не историчный, современный. А музыка старая. Да и пафоса много, но нож обычный, из дешёвых материалов. Он определенно должен быть бюджетным. Не сильно дороже моры. Иначе нет никакого смысла.

Nice knife. But price point is a deal breaker. Too many other great knives out there for half the price or less. High grade steel bragging rights is all well and good, but a knife is valued as a simple tool. I can buy 10 Moras for the money.

Flat grind, delicate edge--good camp kitchen knife. Your tomatoes will thank you. Use heavier gauge scandi grind for bush-whackin'. Two knives. Maybe a third smallish puukko for after-hours fine whittling. Perfecto.

Liked and subscribed. The sheath is a let down but one can always get an aftermarket kydex sheath that would work better. Talking about great outdoors kitchen knife, the Mora Kansbol is a good candidate. I never use it for outdoors but it is a great kitchen knife. I have to see this Venture up close if it will be a good utility knife for both outdoors and indoors. As for the edge damaged, no way wood could inflict such damage to a knife that is hardened to 59 HRC. There must have been some sand pebbles that got caught in the wood piece. If the user desire robustness over sharpness, one could always reprofile the cutting edge to a more gentle angle. Just my 2 cents.

Seen lots of knife reviews but like yours very much. Good presentation and information on advantages and metal. I agree that the voice is not what I prefer, but great review. Have the same one and the test version of the pro. Great balanced knives. Greetings from the Netherlands
