Cars peaked around 2016 and it’s just been downhill from there. By 2040 the only cars on the market will be ones where you have to interact with a touch screen just to open the doors.

I will never buy a car that has a touchscreen. Im not a boomer, quite the opposite, either the top of Gen Z or Bottom of the Millennials depending on who you ask, but the new cars just dont do it for me.

@@Destin5258 same. I’m 24 years old and I don’t like the touchscreens one bit. Not only are they impractical and just another unnecessary expensive part that can break, they’re also unsafe because they force drivers to take their eyes off the road just to do something as simple as turn on the AC.

@@gatlin1320 100%. I get we need a screen for the backup camera, its the law at this point, but nowhere does it say it needs to be a touchscreen. I had a 2015 Audi A3 that did have a screen, but it could retract into the dash when not in use. Everything else was regular buttons, dont know why this isnt more widespread... JK i do, its because one touchscreen costs significantly less than manufacturing a bunch of different buttons AND manufacturers can charge more for it because "TECH!"

@@Destin5258 my 2008 got a crack in the windshield a few years ago and only costed me about $150 to replace it. My mom currently has a crack across her 2018 Honda Accord. I asked her why she doesn’t just get it fixed but apparently it’d cost around $500+ because there’s a scanner attached to it that would need to be replaced and programmed. ✨ F U T U R E ✨

Agreed. Wasn’t a huge fan of the “mid era” Hondas. Like 2010-2016 era. But they are shifting back to a good looking appearance. But personally I will still love the 80s and 90s body designs the most(that can always change though I suppose🤷♂️) Edit: honestly that goes for most manufacturers. Not just Honda. But I like Hondas and Toyotas so that’s the only ones I pay close attention to😂
