I can't believe that you kept this video up, this is deranged. This calls into question the rest of your creative work

Man, I can't wait to see this when it's eventually finished. If I'm alive by then 😂 I can't begin to think how much work and effort that has and will be put into this project. But I can see and feel the passion and love and what we've seen so far looks phenomenal This is a once in a life time piece of art and I'm honestly happy to say I've been watching it grow higher and higher as the years go by Keep it up, I can see this easily being amongst some of the greatest stop-motion projects on this site, maybe even THE greatest To think I was eleven when I found the original pilot, how time flies

My only problem with this depiction of Takua is that he has no redeeming qualities so far. Other than that, nicely done with designing him and Pewku.
@LittleBrotherhoodStudios8 күн бұрын
True, but that being said there is plenty of room for character Growth. This is how Takua Starts...not how he ends.

all the sheer work in the creating the models, the camera rigs and blocking, set pieces... it's staggering, especially coming from a guy who only ever dreams of doing this, having done live action short films and how that is a head ache to coordinate alone, compared to this? Insane. You guys are seriously doing the work of a Laika animation project with a skeleton crew! God bless you guys I hope you shoot higher than you dreamed
@LittleBrotherhoodStudios18 күн бұрын
Wow, thank you. I can honestly say we Are shooting higher than we dreamed...or ever thought to hope for. And step by step God is making those impossible things slowly become possible. I won't deny there are several scenes ahead in this BIONICLE series that I Know we cannot do right now...yet...I can say the Same thing about what I'm doing Right now 5 years ago. It's hard work and LOTS of it, but we love it. ;).

Was that a boat made of green beans? Really cool even if its not. Dang your stop motion never fails to impress me. I still can't wait for the final product!
@LittleBrotherhoodStudios23 күн бұрын
Lol, not green beans. XD. They're Much larger Seed pods that grow on some trees out here...that look and awful lot like something you'd see growing in Ga Koro...so I thought it would be a creative way for Ga Matoran to create little 'canoes' out of. And thanks. :).

One of the things that scares me when watching Stop Motion work on large sets is the idea of having to lean over the set to reach certain figures and accidentally slipping or something onto the set, ruining it! But you seem to be doing a great job with this! Even if this is behind the scenes, it looks great!
@LittleBrotherhoodStudios23 күн бұрын
Always a risk...though most of my sets are more like Table sized, so I rarely have issues falling over on them. Though it's very important to avoid using long sleeves and I never wear shoes while animating. I feel like shoes makes me more clumsy...more apt to accidentally kicking things like tripod legs and not knowing it. Necklaces are also a bad idea...as they can Catch on the bionicle characters when leaning over them. lol. For lighting sake...also best to wear Dark shirts...no bright colors...especially not White. Bounces light too much.

What is the FPS? And how long does it take to film a few seconds?
@LittleBrotherhoodStudios23 күн бұрын
FPS is 24. My Gold Standard. My goal is to average at least 1-2 seconds in 3 or 4 hours...but that is subject to change. Every shot is Different. Some easy shots can help me get up to 7 seconds in 3 hrs...whereas Harder shots that involve lots of characters and camera movement can leave me only getting (worst case scenario) 4 frames in 9 hrs. It's highly relative based on how tricky or ambitious the particular shot Is.

Of course. We're making great progress...but we're 2 guys...the less help we get...the longer it will take. That's Just how it goes. But we are expecting to release more Big animation videos next year...and the Official BIONICLE Teaser is well on its way. ;).

This is cinema. How does it feel? To bring something to life that cannot otherwise be?
@LittleBrotherhoodStudios23 күн бұрын
Usually pretty gratifying. :). Depends very much on the animation itself. Often times a well done Combat shot is Very fun to watch...and feels very fulfilling...but sometimes, it's the subtle nuances in the emotional scenes (even conversation scenes) that Really blow my mind. When a Bionicle character can actually make you feel emotion, especially concern, fear, sadness....That's one of the Most important things you can achieve in animation. Making the audience Feel something...by photographing lego action figures.

Initial Teaser Trailer for BIONICLE is on its way. We're trying to take our time with it and make it as good as it can be...cuz the Initial reveal can only ever happen Once. After that, people's expectations will always be Higher. They'll know what we can do there after. Just trying to go the extra mile for the shock and awe. We could've done simpler Teasers Years ago...but This one we've planned for...over 7 years...and I Hope it's gonna be Just right.
