Why is believing in transubstantiation more reasonable than digging up gold plates? (the conversion of the substance of the Eucharistic elements into the body and blood of Christ at consecration, only the appearances of bread and wine still remaining.)

What I don’t really understand is why Richard suspects that life is not an extremely rare improbable occurrence, and thinks it’s common in the cosmos. Seeing as we don’t yet know of any plausible mechanism for it to arise, and seeing as even if it is extremely rare the anthropic principle would explain why we find ourselves here, isn’t it entirely plausible that life is extremely rare to occur? And seeing as pre-biotic chemists have struggled so much to explain it, wouldn’t that support the view that it’s an extremely rare occurrence?

No no no. When there is nothing that means nothing. No air, chemicals, minerals, energy, even a vacuum. It is nothing. So you can not get something from nothing. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y3O3hWlojq92f5o

dear sir/madams of hollywood. A thought occurred to me as hollywood might have been named after holywood a tree left behind when everything was stored for the winter or that grows in a far away place and provides hope or wisdom one that provided enlightenment for budha. In india there were somany trees growing up so no significance. As a small boy growing up watching a small plant grown into a tree later had to be moved due to a construction. Nothing was wrong, i was too attached. It always rains and numerous trees grows in different parts of the world. I apologize for quoting a terrible metaphor of ants in circle. I know computer graphics played a significant role in stories that is told in movies. A naiive mind may still think as real. As i saw as real people were put in harms way without telling the consequences or understanding the consequences of they were in. In then end its a work and deliverance. Everyone enjoyed a good story, in ancient time till now everyone worked so hard so they needed some thing to keep the mind away. Times have changed, everyone is still doing something that they want to take the mind away. So there is no stopping. I apologize for writing such a terrible comment on circle. When disturbed the ants in motion, the ants will go and resume their work. It was a gravitational pull by whatever they were doing. Anyhow sir/madam. One person view should not impact or change the progression or next generation of thinkers story tellers and extraordinary individuals and their immense talents. Kindly forgive me for trespassing your work and commenting. It takes everyone extratordinary amout to time to perfectly vision design engineer and sail a vessel and everyone to have a share a short span of time of joy in their life time to enjoy the ingenuity. Kindly please forgive me, i havent been good or great in my past and that led me to wrong ways and not knowing the consequences and later implications in life. I saw many many who may have also suffered severe to worst. I hope they will return to normal happy life. Sorry again and Thank you for all the extraordinary story telling. I know it will take a lifetime to read all the books. I saw the movies were just that. I hope more of the same will continue. Thank you.

Jeff Beck was one of the greatest guitarists who has ever lived. Johnny and Jeff had an amazing connection, collaborating on music and inspiring each other until the end, I believe this friendship was Divinely guided... because Jeff and his wife were there for Johnny in his hour of need...then Johnny was able to comfort them and be a brother to him until the very end, this is so sad, but those memories are priceless. Friendships like that are a true blessing...❤

I am amazed at the naturalness and ease with which Richard Dawkins appropriates physics, chemistry, and genetics and uses them to determine how life appeared. To keep silent about the fact that the above sciences are laws that have existed in nature forever and that nothing could have existed without these laws is puzzling, it has that something of usurpation about it, it is like saying: lend me some wood, lend me an axe, lend me some nails, etc., and then saying: the cart that made itself. It means giving all the credit to one fact: the cart exists, and came into existence, spontaneously, without the need of anyone. Good thing that in the course of history a crowd of scientists have gone to investigate and clarified what lies beneath in the various fields of science: they themselves with amazement have discovered how matter manages to hold together with unheard-of forces without which everything would dissolve. It is like invading a neighbor's garden, planting cabbages and then eating them patting themselves on the back for how good they are.

Krauss is such a lazy atheist. His arguments are pathetic. How would an ellipse instead of a circle prove there is no God? just lol He's also ignorant on the history of science just like Degrasse

"leaves open explaining where God came from" Dawkins showing he does not come even close to understanding the philosophical argument for God's existence.
