Neil Diamond was my favorite singer when I was in high school in the late 60's. My mom soon became converted over Tom Jones!

Saw him live in 1968 at Parsons College, Fairfield, Iowa

Cherry Cherry solitary Man and Sweet Caroline was Neil's best.

I love this song, I love the boots Charlie made for me and I love the autographed photo of he and Carol King that he gave me. Jerry Jeff was right, " Once you wear a pair of his handmade boots, you'll never wear a store bought pair". Meetin Charlie and talking to him was a thrill.

Neil Diamond killed it back in the 60s. Then came the 70s and it all went wrong.

I absolutely love this song !!! Great feel, Great Vibe ! 1966 What an explosive year for the development of Rock & Roll and IT's amazing that Neil was right there with his fantastic contributions to the Era !! This song still sounds great at my live gigs. (pre Covid) .. and it works well on the Cruise Ship gigs as well. My Students love to learn and play this song. If you need it transposed into a different key to make it easier to sing, i can help you with that as well. Gotta Love the Classics. ;-) Thanks for posting this video. ;-)

I've been singing this tune since the early 70's when some hipsters turned me on to JJW & Gary P Nunn & Guy Clark & Billy Swann AND ....Damn it's good to see ol' Charlie after all these years!! Blessings....
