“Where on a mission from God”, “”He’s not the messiah, He’s just a naughty boy”, “ Your terrible Muriel”. Examples of great Comedy Movie quotes. However I remember watching this movie years ago and I remember thinking it was solid however when I got to the set up and the delivery of 2 of the greatest Comedy Movie quotes, “I’m a Boy” and to emphasise his wide vocabulary “I’m a Big Boy” had me laughing my ass off and was forever etched in my memory.

This is a classic! But i see some comments saying its normal to learn a language before visiting, which isnt necessary here in Norway. Most of us would communicate in english without hesitation if you dont speak the language, and we would even go out of our way to keep the communication going in english when we talk to eachother, just to make sure the non-native speaker doesnt feel left out.

I love his sheer stupidity - even if he couldn't understand the manager's words, he should've been able to judge from the body language and face that it was bad news. But instead he somehow interprets it as being offered a million dollar deal and sits there grinning like an idiot.

Can Norwegians understand Yorkshire slang? Yorkshire people use many old Norse words, as Yorkshire was part of the Viking kingdom and many have Norwegian heritage even if they don`t know it , but Yorkshire people use words like Oreyt = Alright, and Owt = Anything

each of person who want to come or holiday in country who isn't speaking english as the first language. they should learning a language before he wanted to holiday in
@commonsense6257
@commonsense6257 7 жыл бұрын
Why? Norwegians do not learn Greek, Spanish, Turkish, Thai or Arabic when they go on holiday to Greece, Spain, Turkey, Thailand or Egypt. They usually shout in broken English and complain that the people in the that country do not speak English as well as they do. I have never met people as arrogant as Scandinavians. I have never heard a Brit complain about a person's level of English when abroad.

I have started norwegian as a third language also (after english and german) and I have to tell you I love the Norwegian langauge. It became my favorite after Hungarian which is mother language.based on the fact it is very similar to the other germanic languages it just takes a year to reach a confident intermediate level!

+AbbyRockx56 It might be a bit difficult when you're trying to learn with daily conversations in Norway. They're apparently so good at it and they think it's so cool that they'll just speak English to any foreigner.

Har du ikke Norske venner som du kan lære av? Prøv å se Norske filmer med tekst. Eller skaff deg en hobby som du både liker og blir tvunget til å lese eller snakke. Lykke til Dont you have any Norwegian friends who can help you out? Try watching Norwegian movies with Norwegian texts. That and games worked really well for me as a child as i enjoyed it. Good luck

Yeah, and the americans (from the US) and not Canada. I heard that in the last Olymipic ice hockey final, I think it was. The USA team was refered to as "the americans". The Canadian team was Canada.
