Halloween is my all time favorite for spooky music. Been a long-time horror fan though and I've gotta say my top 3 favorite horror movies in this order are Alien, Friday the 13th, and Texas Chainsaw. I love those 3 in particular because they don't necessarily rely on the music itself to build tension, just the atmosphere and picture so it helps to put me in the characters shoes a lot better. Don't get me wrong, I love suspensful music, I just believe it takes away from the horrific atmosphere slightly and thats just my personal preference; it's hard for me to focus on what's going on when I got a sick beat blasting in the back of my head 😂 That being said, I'm not gonna say that any horror is specifically bad. As long as it's got me on the edge of my seat and the hairs on my arms standing up the first time watching it then I had a great time with the film! 👍
