Hi!! Great video 🙌 I have a 2TB WD ELEMENTS BLACK USB 3.0 2.5 external drive? The PC does not detect it on port 3.0, but on 2.0, on that port it appears fine in the device manager, in the disk manager it appears uninitialized and when initialized it says non-existent device. When you connect it, the LED turns on, it makes 7 beeps and then. 3 beeps and then 3 more beeps and it stops. Will there be a solution?

Hello..first of all, thank you for the lucid and informative video. I followed the step shown. I have Microsoft office 2019 student version. However, when I click install on the Microsoft Dashboard, it installs Microsoft 365. Could you please help with this issue? Thank you

Hi there! Thank you for the feedback. t sounds like you might be encountering a common issue where the Microsoft Dashboard is defaulting to the Microsoft 365 installer instead of the Microsoft Office 2019 installer. Here are a few steps you can follow to ensure you get the correct version installed: Sign in to Your Microsoft Account: Go to the Microsoft Office website and sign in with the account associated with your Office 2019 purchase. Navigate to Your Office Page: After signing in, click on your account profile picture or initials in the upper right corner and select "My Account." Click on the "Subscriptions" or "Services & subscriptions" section. Locate Your Office 2019 Subscription: In the list of subscriptions, look for your Office 2019 Student version. It should be listed separately from any Office 365 subscription. Download Office 2019: Next to your Office 2019 subscription, there should be an option to "Install" or "Download." Ensure that you are selecting the correct product. If it still tries to install Office 365, look for a "More options" or "View product key" link. Sometimes you need to enter your product key to access the correct download. Uninstall Incorrect Office Versions: If you have already installed Office 365, you may need to uninstall it before installing Office 2019. You can do this through the "Control Panel" on Windows or "Finder" on macOS. After uninstalling, restart your computer. Use the Office Deployment Tool: If the above steps don’t work, you can use the Office Deployment Tool to specifically install Office 2019. You can download the tool from the Microsoft Download Center. Follow the instructions to configure the installation for Office 2019.

I'm frustrated that the filter button isn't really button, but a menu. No way now to just one click switch to a filtered view (in my case, flagged and/or unread). That's a deal breaker for me, so back to Mac mail again....

You should not have to purchase any updates. You may just have to uninstall any previously installed versions of Office on your Mac first in order for it to work properly. Here's our video tutorial on how to uninstall Office on Mac- Uninstall Office from Mac- kzbin.info/www/bejne/p2W7nIOmn9xqetE and if that still doesn't work for you recommend to just install your Office from the .PKG file instead and here's our video tutorial on how to do that- kzbin.info/www/bejne/iHfOiGpsiLKVndU

Hi thanks for the video. My XML data is in the worksheet via the developer tab. It's been months and I can't remember where my XML source is located. How can I find the file path to the original XML source from within Excel?
@indigosoftware9625
@indigosoftware9625 Күн бұрын
Unfortunately, Excel does not store the file path of the original XML file once the data has been imported into the worksheet. The XML Maps will show the structure but not the source path. However, you can follow these steps to check if there's any reference to the original XML file within the workbook or use Excel features to try to locate any possible source information: Check XML Maps: Go to the "Developer" tab on the Ribbon. Click on "Source" in the XML group to open the XML Source task pane. Click on "XML Maps..." at the bottom of the task pane. This will open the XML Maps dialog box. Select the XML map in the list and click on "Edit...". Check if the schema might give you any clues about the source. Review Workbook Connections: Go to the "Data" tab on the Ribbon. Click on "Connections" to open the Workbook Connections dialog box. Check if there are any connections related to your XML data. Sometimes, external data connections can give you a clue about the data source. Check Named Ranges: Go to the "Formulas" tab on the Ribbon. Click on "Name Manager" to open the Name Manager dialog box. Review the named ranges to see if any are related to your XML data. They might contain information about the data source. Inspect Document Properties: Click on "File" in the Ribbon. Go to "Info" and then click on "Properties" > "Advanced Properties". Check the "Summary" and "Contents" tabs for any notes or details that might reference the original XML file. If these steps do not provide the information you need, you may need to manually search your computer for the XML file. Here are some additional tips for finding the file: Search Your Computer: Use the file search feature on your computer to search for XML files. You can use keywords that you remember or the date range when you last worked on the file. Check Recent Files: Check the "Recent" files list in Excel or Windows Explorer to see if the XML file is listed there. Review Email and Downloads: If the XML file was emailed to you or downloaded from a website, check your email inbox or download folder.

My audio interface is having problems with Logic Pro but nothing else what should I do?
@indigosoftware9625
@indigosoftware9625 7 күн бұрын
Hi Kurtz, Thank you for the comment! Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue with your audio interface and Logic Pro: Update Software: Ensure that Logic Pro and your audio interface drivers/firmware are updated to the latest versions. Check Compatibility: Verify that your audio interface is compatible with the version of Logic Pro you are using. Restart and Reconnect: Restart your MacBook Air and reconnect the audio interface. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connection issues. Audio Preferences: Open Logic Pro and go to Logic Pro > Preferences > Audio. Ensure that your audio interface is selected as both the input and output device. Check the I/O Buffer Size setting and try adjusting it. A higher buffer size can help with stability but may introduce latency. Core Audio Settings: In the same Audio Preferences menu, ensure that the "Enable Core Audio" option is checked. Reset Audio Preferences: Go to ~/Library/Preferences/ and delete the com.apple.logic.pro.cs file. This will reset Logic Pro's preferences, which might resolve the issue. Check Sample Rate: Ensure that the sample rate in Logic Pro matches the sample rate set on your audio interface. Use a Different USB Port or Cable: Try connecting your audio interface to a different USB port or use a different USB cable to rule out connectivity issues. Audio Interface Control Panel: Check the control panel or software that comes with your audio interface for any settings that might affect its operation with Logic Pro.

@@indigosoftware9625 I have tried all of this and I just tried changing the sample rate and resetting my presences. The issue is that when it records the audio it just does not record anything but I connected a whole new interface and had the same issue yet they work fine in garage band.

Hellooo! Why I can’t move from one email inbox to another email inbox in outlook for Mac? I have 2 email accounts set up in my outlook and in pc I used to move emails between them with no issue 😢
@indigosoftware9625
@indigosoftware9625 8 күн бұрын
Hi Valeria! Thank you for the comment, and I'm sorry you're having some issues! We have 8 options listed below that could help with your issue: Check Account Permissions: Ensure both email accounts are set up with the correct permissions to move emails between them. Some email providers might restrict moving emails to another account. Update Outlook: Make sure your Outlook for Mac is updated to the latest version. Updates often fix bugs and improve functionality. Rebuild Outlook Database: Sometimes, the Outlook database may need to be rebuilt to fix issues. You can do this by: Close Outlook. Open the Microsoft Database Utility (located in /Applications/Microsoft Office/Office/). Select your profile and click "Rebuild." Check Email Server Settings: Verify that the email server settings for both accounts are configured correctly in Outlook. Ensure that both accounts support IMAP/POP protocols if you are moving emails between them. Drag and Drop Method: Try using the drag and drop method to move emails between folders and accounts. If this doesn't work, there might be a restriction or a bug causing the issue. Outlook Safe Mode: Try starting Outlook in Safe Mode to see if the issue persists. Safe Mode can help determine if the problem is caused by add-ins or custom settings. To start Outlook in Safe Mode, hold the Shift key while launching Outlook. Re-add Email Accounts: Remove and re-add the email accounts in Outlook. This can sometimes resolve synchronization issues. Go to Outlook > Preferences > Accounts, select the account, and click the minus (-) button to remove it. Then, add the account again by clicking the plus (+) button. Outlook Support: If none of the above steps work, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance. They can provide more specific guidance and advanced troubleshooting.

What to do when you no longer use the mail address that purchased the Microsoft 365 Office with, and have forgotten the password but I still have the product key. I did try to change the password but "Yahoo" did not allow the change. Is there any other way that I can install my Microsoft product key on my new laptop? By the way, did I mention that my old laptop is broken? Can you offer any suggestions?
@indigosoftware9625

If you no longer use the email address that purchased your Microsoft 365 Office, have forgotten the password, and cannot change it through Yahoo, you can still try a few methods to resolve the issue and use your product key on a new laptop. Here are the steps you can follow: Contact Microsoft Support: The best course of action is to contact Microsoft Support directly. Explain your situation to them, and provide your product key. They can help verify your purchase and assist in transferring your subscription to a new email address or help you regain access. Use the Microsoft Account Recovery Form: If you remember any details about your Microsoft account, you can use the account recovery form to attempt to regain access: Go to Microsoft Account Recovery Enter the email address you used to sign up with Microsoft, and follow the prompts to verify your identity. Product Key Redemption: If you have the product key, you might be able to redeem it on a new Microsoft account: Go to Microsoft Setup Sign in with a new Microsoft account or create a new one. Enter your product key and follow the instructions to install Microsoft 365 on your new laptop. Yahoo Account Recovery: Attempt to recover your Yahoo account: Go to Yahoo Account Recovery Follow the steps to recover your Yahoo email account. If you can regain access to your Yahoo email, you can then reset your Microsoft account password. Proof of Purchase: Gather any proof of purchase you might have, such as email receipts or transaction details. This can be useful when contacting Microsoft Support for verification purposes. Check for Alternative Email Addresses: Sometimes, you might have added an alternative email address or phone number to your Microsoft account. Try using those for account recovery.

Hi Roger! Thank you for reaching out! I've provided some troubleshooting methods that may clear up the error: 1. Check System Requirements Ensure that the computer meets the minimum system requirements for Windows 10. You can find the system requirements on the Microsoft website. 2. Run Windows Update Troubleshooter Windows has a built-in troubleshooter that can help resolve issues with Windows Update. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot. Select Windows Update and run the troubleshooter. 3. Free Up Disk Space Ensure that there is enough free disk space on the computer. Windows 10 requires at least 16 GB of free space for the 32-bit version and 20 GB for the 64-bit version. 4. Disable or Uninstall Antivirus Software Third-party antivirus software can sometimes interfere with the upgrade process. Temporarily disable or uninstall any third-party antivirus software and then try the upgrade again. 5. Check for Disk Errors Run a disk check to ensure there are no errors on the hard drive. Open Command Prompt as Administrator. Type chkdsk /f /r and press Enter. Follow the prompts and restart the computer if necessary. Let us know if this solves your issue! Best, Gabe

@indigosoftware9625
@indigosoftware9625 14 күн бұрын
To import your Outlook PST files from your Windows computer to Outlook on your Mac, you don't need to convert them to OLM files. Here's a step-by-step guide: Export PST from Windows Outlook: Open Outlook on your Windows computer. Go to File > Open & Export > Import/Export. Select Export to a file and choose Outlook Data File (.pst). Select the folders you want to export and save the PST file. Transfer PST to Mac: Transfer the PST file to your Mac using a USB drive, external hard drive, or cloud storage. Import PST to Mac Outlook: Open Outlook on your Mac. Go to File > Import. Select Outlook for Windows archive file (.pst) and click Continue. Locate the PST file you transferred and click Import. If the emails are not visible after importing, try the following: Check All Mailboxes: Ensure you are viewing all mailboxes and not just a specific folder. Rebuild Outlook Database: Go to Tools > Accounts and select your account. Click on Advanced and then Rebuild. If you continue to have issues, try using a third-party PST to OLM converter tool. These tools can sometimes handle the import process more smoothly. Let me know if you need further assistance!

Hey how do you now collapse the "Today", "Yesterday" Last week views? to make the inbox easier to see
@indigosoftware9625
@indigosoftware9625 18 күн бұрын
Hi Samuel! To collapse the "Today," "Yesterday," and "Last Week" views in Outlook for Mac to make your inbox easier to see, follow these steps: Open Outlook for Mac and go to your Inbox. Locate the Group Headers (such as "Today," "Yesterday," "Last Week") in your message list. Click the small triangle or arrow next to each group header. This will collapse the group and hide the individual emails within that group. Repeat this for each group header you want to collapse. If you want to change the way your messages are grouped entirely, you can modify the settings: Go to the "Organize" Tab: Click on the "Organize" tab at the top of the window. Change Grouping Options: In the "Arrange By" dropdown menu, you can select different criteria for organizing your emails, such as Date, From, or Subject. Selecting "None" will remove grouping and list all emails individually. Use the "View" Tab: Click on the "View" tab. Select "Arrange By" and choose your preferred arrangement option. This will help you customize your view and make your inbox easier to navigate.

HI Aldred! Sorry to hear you're having issues. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you may try in addition to resetting the nvram and smc Restart Your Mac: A simple restart can resolve many performance issues. Click the Apple logo in the top-left corner and select "Restart." Check for Updates: Ensure your macOS and applications are up to date. Go to "System Preferences" > "Software Update" to check for macOS updates. Open the App Store and go to the "Updates" tab to update your apps. Manage Background Processes: Open "Activity Monitor" from the Utilities folder within Applications. Check the CPU tab for processes using high CPU and consider closing them. Check the Memory tab for processes using a lot of memory. Clear Cache: Open Finder, then press "Shift + Command + G" to open the "Go to Folder" dialog. Type ~/Library/Caches and press Enter. Delete files and folders inside, but not the Caches folder itself. Reset SMC (System Management Controller): Shut down your Mac. Press and hold Shift + Control + Option + Power button for 10 seconds. Release all keys and then press the Power button to turn on your Mac. Reset NVRAM/PRAM: Shut down your Mac. Turn it on and immediately press and hold Option + Command + P + R for about 20 seconds. Release the keys and allow your Mac to restart. Free Up Disk Space: Ensure you have adequate free disk space. Aim for at least 10% of your total disk space to be free. Move unnecessary files to an external drive or cloud storage and empty the Trash. Check for Malware: Use a reputable antivirus or anti-malware program to scan for any malware that might be affecting performance. Optimize System Settings: Go to "System Preferences" > "Energy Saver" and ensure settings are optimized for performance.

Tried this on 6/26/2024 and this software is no longer free. Great tutorial, very easy to follow, but need to find another software.

It sounds like you're experiencing a common issue in Outlook where emails get stuck in the Outbox after importing data. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this: Check Email Settings: Ensure that your email account settings, including SMTP server details and port numbers, are correctly configured in Outlook. Offline Mode: Sometimes Outlook might be in Offline mode inadvertently. Check the bottom right corner of the Outlook window. If it says "Working Offline," click on it to switch back to Online mode. Clear Stuck Emails: Open the Outbox folder and try to delete or move the stuck emails. Sometimes, a single problematic email can cause others to get stuck. Send/Receive Settings: Verify your Send/Receive settings. Go to the Send/Receive tab and click on "Send/Receive All Folders" to force Outlook to try sending again. Repair Outlook Profile: If the issue persists, try repairing your Outlook profile. Go to Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles. Select your profile and click on "Properties" > "Email Accounts." Choose "Repair" and follow the prompts. Check Antivirus/Firewall: Ensure that your antivirus or firewall settings are not blocking Outlook from sending emails. Temporarily disable them to test if it resolves the issue. Update Outlook: Make sure you have the latest updates installed for Outlook. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements that could resolve issues like this. Legacy Outlook Compatibility: If sending works fine in Legacy Outlook but not in the new version, consider checking if there are any compatibility issues with add-ins or settings between the two versions.
