There was probably about 60% that were aged between 35 to 50. I would say 10% were aged 20 to 35 and the rest 50+. Unfortunately Metal isn't aired on the Radio here in the UK or on TV, or even promoted to people who are not already Metal enthusiast's. So the chances of younger people listening to it is much lower. The Future of Metal in the UK will probably remain with an older age group unless people get bored of other types of music at a younger age. It's so stifled in the media that people have to be actively looking for something very different to pop and rap etc to find it, so most younger people won't find Metal until then.

You cant blame the New Cross Inn, much less "England". The New Cross Inn is a small pub in South London where bands play from time to time, it is s perfectly good venue for the bands who normally play there which are typically small time tribute bands and bands starting out. It was obviously a ridiculous venue for Victor to chose for Lovebites. Although having said that the last time I looked all of the fancam videos for New Cross had around 200,000 KZbin views in total so maybe NewCross was a good choice in terms of generating publicity. But personally speaking I was at the gig and I loved it and in its own way it was probably the most memorable gig Ive ever been at, and I have been to an awful lot of bands at much bigger venues over the years.

The issue is that LOVEBITES has musically overtaken the "grands" of historical heavy metal by far - and has to perform in humble slots like this, like small newcomers who have to earn their first living like novices, not being able to play more than two and a half keys per composition. By the way, who is "Victor"? Their incompetent manager ?

@@kgspollux6998 "Victor Entertainment" is their management company. This Newcross gig was the first one announced on their European tour. After it quickly sold out when announced 6 months in advance they announced various other dates around Europe including another concert in London two weeks after this one in a venue that was bigger called "The Garage" that is still not huge, something like 600 capacity but still it is a "proper" venue not a pub, Maybe they booked this tiny New Cross venue because they had no idea how much interest there would be outside of Japan, I think this was the first time they played outside of Japan in 5 years since 2019 before Covid.

And we can see Miyako working so super hard again - getting all these tech things running, programming stuff on the fly.. A Mozart genius on all levels. So happy to see Haruna playing, getting the "unplugged" sound. I always thought no way, but she is really doing it, looking super cute, sounding like goddess of Rock.

Im 64 so maybe around same age of those guys at the front. But I hope they have younger people at their concerts too. I also admire in particular the patience of miyako while someone is holding a phone up at her. I remember a time when people were forbidden to record concerts Things seem to have become a lot more lenient in that area. Heck I even saw people holding their phones up at a Van Morrison concert.

I was there travelled from North of Scotland to London to see them. A fantastic concert and despite the small size of the venue the ladies really seemed to be revelling in the close contact with the fans and the enthusiastic reception they received. We joined in with vigour on all the choruses such as "make some noise, raise some hell". Asami is a hell of a front woman and Fami really seemed to be rocking and really having fun
